i think the viper was stock and the grand natinoals where modded we all know stock for stock the viper will destroy either one but there modded and it was a good run still in all the viper would have caught them in the long run(higher top speed)

stick the same amount into the viper as was put into the gnx. a stock Viper Hennessey Venom 1000TT 2.3 will run a 9.5 anyways.

you forget that stock nationals only run 13.43. 0-60 in 5.5.
that looks like a '96 viper and they run the quarter in 12.2. with the 0-60 at only 4.1 (official specs)
I cant find the top speed for a stock national but the viper of that year got up to 189 mph.
