Adam Saitiev is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, even though he doesn't have as many medals as Buvaisia, he was the best in the world while giving up 20 lbs, incredible.
Saitiev has the perfect wrestler's build. Tiny little legs for the low shot and hugely powerful upper body. Look how low he is compared to the taller Snaderson!
its quite opposite my friend, saitiev has a strong upper body, but his legs are way bigger and stronger than his top muscles. I know this because I have actually met him
I watched Slay vs Leopold in Sydney, with Randy Cuuture. The intensity! Slay was typical Hawkeye, with Gable in his corner too, ever tenacious, never quitting to the last second. Leopold could not have won without the juice, so Slay deserved it.
Sorry, but I'm SO American and I prefer Folkstyle over freestyle. I just don't like the passivity rule in freestyle. I think it kind of defeats the purpose of the takedown in a way. I also do a lot of things in folkstyle that I could destroy myself in freetyle with. Too many rolls.
lol i love how u guys are so biast towards cael, did u all know that be4 saitiev won the olympics at 84, he was a 69 kg wrestler? only reason why he doesnt go 74 is because he cant beat his brother so he wrestles up 2 weights? lol for a guy who prbl weighs 80 kgs soaking wet (and the size different shows in this match and against romero) you guys are pretty impressed that cael squeezed this one out against a much smaller man
@brands1 That's because Sajidov couldn't make the finals as he was nearly teched by Moon, but even if he did I believe Cael wins on that day. He had also never beat Romero prior to the games (0-2 I believe) yet won handily. We can speculate all we want but Cael beat everybody in front of him. I am curious to see who Russia sends this year to the worlds though, no doubt they will be extremely tough.

you guys are all from the states right? its really easy to tell cause you dont understand freestyle you can't work the edge and avoid the the tie up in freestyle. its not like college or forkestyle wrestling. ref doen a good job. the saitiev brothers are very active wrestlers and most american do well with them when they do work edges and avoide the tie up like slay did at the games and cael did in this match so i believe all the call were right and yeah im not russian by the way.
what a terrible ref. This whole move to the pushout rule can only help the US though. This match has to be famous. Adam's brother made Joe Williams famous through.
