@unclepoepoe Its probably the dross from ore. Its only slightly more radioactive than normal. But when you have a boogeyman like "radioactive" paranoia overrides good sense. This is a gold mine so Id be FAR more worried about toxic heavy metals like thallium than the radioactive ones.
Those factories think about the profit they make today, not of the loss that comes with it in future. Before thinking about todays profits, think about futures loss...
