How talented is Val Kilmer? Well, as Nick Rivers, he released a soundtrack from Top Secret. Val is one of our best dramatic actors and here, he dances, does borad comedy, stinky puns and looks cool throughout. If I didn't know (him) better, I'd call him a comic.

This film was weird (the backwards bookstore and the guy with the irregular eyes), hilarious(Chocolate Mousse, the other french guys, Nigel... i can't think of anything more cuz it's so many) & totally 80's (young and GORGEOUS Val Kilmer) and I friggin' loved it.

This movie defined the spoof genre and remains the one of the funniest yet. Even after vieweing it dozens of times, I still manage to notice new gags. Find the soldier who takes off his helmet and the strap remains in his face. Find the cows who step into the binoculars.

You can watch Airplane! drunk and it's still hilarious but some of the humour in Top Secret is very subtle and you need ton concentrate to see it all, that why I prefer it to Airplane!
