  • Sorry, but Obamacare is yet another addictive public entitlement program. Had they EVER mentioned the words "Tort Reform" one time, I could take this a little more seriously. Hillary tried to run a similar program through and fortunately it didn't make it. After the mid-terms, the program will likely be de-funded anyway. Simply put...there is no way the nation can afford this bloated pile of garbage. This administration is growing the government at a frightening rate. It must stop!

  • you are talking about a price ceiling. thats difficult to enforce when inflation is guarenteed. just look at the "debt ceiling".... didnt they just raise that... again??

  • Did you hear! They just released a nation wide control on cost!!! Just like you said!!

    Its called supply and demand!!!

Cost + Profit margin for doctors = Amount charged

    heres how it works:

if your doctor wants to charge a higher amount to increase his profit margin.... LEAVE. go find a doctor who is charging less in attempts to gain clients!

you do the same for everything else. groceries, clothes, etc. why not this?

Thanks for the innovative idea buddy!

  • Saying that, I ALSO support the Public Plan Option and have contacted my State Senator, Representative, and even Senators from other States (Reps. & Dems) urging them to support the public plan option. I think, any plan short of it will not change the status quo.

  • Bravo!!! I strongly Support the public plan option. Great Ideas!!!!

  • I always hear the malpractice insurance issue, and hear physicians complaining in absolute value the huge amounts they pay. What I have never seen is the percentage value of how much malpractice insurance represents; my guess is that for most, this number is very small, and it might be in the range of what small business owners pay for insurance. Nevertheless,I think that the democrats are thinking to reduce risk of malpractice lawsuits by setting minimum standards procedures for specific cases
