Why does the arm on an Autoreach always seem to bring the can up real slow , but fast on the way down?

Spools on these things break too many springs, no compensators designed in. System takes a real pounding, we have pump seals leaking on units under 3000 hours. Pathetic.

Yeah, I worked out of the Ft Walton Beach shop, when I lived out there... drove routes in Walton, Okaloosa, and Santa Rosa counties

It was a Volvo... they only had 2 of them in that area when I was working for them, and that's one of the trucks I remember.
