  • If Bach, Händel, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Telemann and other baroque composers had access to jets, cell phones, e-mail, video conferencing, etc., do you think they might have collaborated or would they have hated each other's guts and fought like rock stars (Bach liked Vivaldi's work)? Baroque Farm Aid or something. Or, possibly, "Oh, Bach! What a prima dona. I'll never work with him again. Arrogant Lutheran kraut and his brood of musical brats!"

  • @sosome57

Händel wrote a letter to G. Ph. Telemann to work together on order to put themselves officially above J.S. Bach...

    Nihil nove sub sole...

  • @owyowy57 Hmmm. Conpsiring against Bach! Oooo! Outrageous! They failed miserably. Interesting. Too bad they didn't have texting. It would not have helped them in their conspiracy, but they could have found out faster that they failed. Or maybe they would not have known for a couple hundred years. =)

  • one of the most precious masterpieces ever written the 3 suites from "Water Music", from the king of the baroque, Georg Friederich Handel, too many beautiful and wonderful works with an intense melodic vein had this extraordinary composer, my favorite after Beethoven and Mozart,

  • i agree this awesome!

  • The most beautiful of Handel's minuets
