Actually to by completely honest, I like all of the jokes and stuff because you see that all of the countries are idiots (they kinda are) and, in that aspect we really are not all that different... I really want to see how they handle the last few years of WW2 in the anime (Italy switching to the Alied side and all). I think we are going to be laughing, and crying a little at the same time. :)

@TheJolteonMaster I agree.....but the point remains that the fact that there's no real conflict means it not nearly as interesting. If you've ever watched Hetalia: Paint it White, you'll know what I mean here. Sure, there were dumb jokes and silliness, but there were also serious moments that left you wanting MORE. Seriously, watching your favorite country do backflips to avoid lethal projectiles makes you wish for more.
