  • well done fox for uniting the 1996's with the 1812's at 5:18!!!!

  • The laugh I gave at 5:18 was what caused the Haiti earthquake.

  • Love the Mario Kart 64 mission accomplished XD lol

  • I could not stop laughing at this. This is brilliant beyond the words I could possibly use to describe it. Well done, sir.

  • I love how you used the Mario Kart 64 race clear music for the stage clear here. It just fits so well.

  • do you have starfox64 3d

  • Hold a sec: if the Landmaster is the size of a house, and the arwings are roughly the same size---- we see, in the intro, the characters IN THE HOUSE-SIZED COCKPITS.....

  • PS. Cue the rumble pack going out of control during this scene :)

  • Normally I am all for the music that goes with the game, but nice usage of the 1812 overture, lol

  • hey guess what...GWAAA!!

  • I don't get it, if the Great Fox is following you the whole time then why doesn't it use it's huge lasers to blow up the train?

  • This game would have been a million times better if the end of each mission really did use Mario Kart 64 music.

  • Seriously one of the scariest boss fights of my childhood. This monkey was psychotic.

  • why smrpg music?

  • 4:37 moonwalk barrel roll.

  • Best use of the 1812 overture EVER.

  • @Pikachu4Prezident

    The timing was PERFECT!

  • Happy 4th of July ! When the day comes. :D

  • When you mentioned the Arwings having a low stall speed, maybe they convert to VSTOL aircrafts like the F-35 or Harrier.

  • @Shogunelite Well they do that in the sequels, even though it makes no sense.

Really if someone ever did a study of the aerodynamics of the N64 model I bet it would be ridiculously unstable and need to go about 300 knots to get any lift.

  • @concordat

It's been a while since I looked at the lore, but I'm pretty sure the G-diffusers are basically antigravity modules. In that case, Arwings would have a much slower stall speed than an aerodynamically equivalent craft without them.

  • @concordat Well remember, this is Nintendo, where talking foxes fly spacecraft and drive death machines, and where toads fuck up your life, and where rabbits want you to do barrel rolls, and falcons have a smartass comment about everything... The laws of nature don't exist here.

  • 1812 overture for the gran finale! nice

  • @TheX1b2 Please don't.

  • @concordat ?

  • @TheX1b2 Those are bad comments. X number of people did thing in video.

  • @concordat oh ok sorry

  • Gwaa!!!!!!!!!!!! Since everyone screams like that.

  • This is the best video of a truly fantastic series. I can't believe I've missed it up till now! You should definitely do something similar to this in the future.

  • OH, YEAH!

  • Aw I can't play this vid on my iPhone

  • That Mario Kart music seriously took me out of nowhere...awesome XDDD

  • 5:17 What the fu-BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!! Perfect music choice, bro.

  • KABLOOIE!

  • Yeah, I noticed that at the end. My bad ^^"

  • WHAT?!

But, weren't the switches used to open a last switch that allowed you to move the rails and kill the boss without actually fighting it?

  • @andarks Yeah uh I showed what happens when you miss a switch and the boss fight. Then I showed what happens when you hit all of them. Did you comment before finishing the video?

  • Dude, kick ass!

I loved how you cued the big hit and breakdown with the first explosion...

  • Perfect music

  • 0:30 Banjo and Kazooie do that a lot.

  • Destroying giant flying robot bosses. . . IN AMERICA!

  • these videos have been on here for over 3 years! and there still great to watch every now and then !

  • i just loved how the timing was perfect for the overture :D

  • ahaha I was dying when the mario kart music came in out of nowhere at 2:14

  • Funny. "V" For Vendetta meets Star Fox!

  • Epic timing for the music

  • You seem to mention the player's guide for this game and its (actually interesting) details alot in these videos. Do you have the player's guide for this game or do you look up this info on the internet?

  • @Ultraguy678 My neighbor had it a long time ago, and I looked over it and remembered some of the sillier bits, like the 80 year mortgage. For these videos I asked a few people who had the guide to scan me pages, one of which was zallard1. There were at least two other people but I can't remember who.

  • you're funny xD

  • diantre me acuerdo cuando lo jugaba es el mejor juego despues de pokemon stadium! :p

  • Oh, I have to subscribe to you now, the Mario Kart Victory music theme did it for me. :)

  • I like the way he says "Gwaaa". It sounds like he accidently dropped something down the drain or something as opposed to getting blowing the fuck up on the second part. Also he kind of sounds like Hank from King of the Hill.

  • who the fuck is katt? I dont remember her

  • The timing of the 1812 Overture at 5:17 was epic!!! Awesome video

  • Comment removed

  • the 5 people who disliked this were the train driver and 4 ppl working in the depot XD

  • hes u, hes me......forgot the rest :P

    SHEER BRILLIANCE!!!!

  • Try not to smile at 5:16

  • 5:17

    Epic Win.

  • @Smash4Tress2 Don't use that language here.

  • dude the mechbeth was a prototype, if it was completed then that would probably not have happened to the train engine.

Also LOL at the 1812 Overture.

  • minute 2:15 is amazing xD mario kart song xD

  • im guessing on the second playthrough (fuel bunker armageddon) you didnt come from zoness? cause katt didnt appear

  • @bradymonty exactly

  • @concordat hey you say he has an instant kill attack, i don't know what your talking about i got to about the 1600 blox when i finnaly killed him my 3rd time

  • The five people who didnt like this didnt hit the BRAKES!!!

  • that was a good idea to use the 1812 Overture.

  • Demoman: Mother of Mercy! That's one bloody DOMINATION!

  • @skellington15 Lolwat TF2 reference? Nice. And i agree. xD

  • that was perfect :3

  • @toolisbeast456 He sends the robot you fight to crash on top of you, resulting in an insta-death.

  • "Gwaaa!"?

Hmm, I guess normal screaming when the robot crashed into the train would have been too much to ask.

  • i love how in sync u have the music!

  • i LOVE the noise the glider makes when its malfunctionaing! love that noise from the game

  • zhahahahahahhahaha amazing...i laugh and laugh with the songs of mario kart xD

i love star fox 64, mario kart and some of opera xD

  • Wow, talk about Michael Bay Pandemonium near the end there! Whooo!

  • was that the armory of general knoxx at the end?

  • See Ya Later At 4:55

  • well the boss here is called mechbeth it was an advanced combat system but its internal power generator had to be connected to the train because it could not be completed in time. It dosen't use its instant kill attack right away until he goes to the supply depot. Im assuming the supply depot is what powers the instant kill attack.

  • dude where did you get that version of 1812 overture, if you can remember

  • Bravo, good sir. Bravo.

  • 5:17 TURUTURU TURU TU TU epic song

  • Eggman Behold masterpices The egg fool Cauecee! Adues till meet you. haaa

  • favorited for awesomeness and halarity

  • Awesome use and perfect timing with the 1812 Overture... hehehe Evertime I see stuff blowing up, the Overtire plays in my head... hehehe I originally blamed Mythbusters for that, but then I saw various youtube videos of fireworks and 1812 Overture is the chosen song.

  • Not only do you find the most strangely fitting music ever for these parts, but hell you have the absolute BEST timing ever for them. You rock.

  • I see what he did there.

  • Hearing that epic uprise just as the base started blowing up put the biggest grin on my face, you have no idea.

  • lol i just love the music you choose for the missions

  • I have found that the long pause at about 5:52 is indeed reserved for katt. She says something like "You're pretty good tiger."

  • This LP is in and of itself a work of art good sir. So awesome.

  • the music at the end when the base was blowing up THAT was perfect

  • Man...

    This was BEATIFULL...

    touched my heart...

almost cryed when the base explodes and the timing was just PERFECT!!!

    YOU ROCK!

  • You are my hero. Lawl I still have an old N64 8D Retro all the way. And im CHICK!

  • great synch, and V for Vendetta is a good movie, although i wasnt really able to follow how Britan had gotten that way :P

  • I Lol'd at the Mario Cart 64 Song. =D Reminded me of the old days.

  • you timed the 1812 overture very well for the explosion; that's classic and hilarious

  • v for vendetta sucks. this on the other hand owns. hope i've cleared up any misconceptions. PS semper games

  • semper gays

  • Fuck. I can't believe you've done this.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

  • @concordat fuck with him......i love star fox 64 and i love this too xD

  • Im so soryr

  • Miyamoto, always breaking the forth wall.

  • Comment removed

  • You keep using that word, "epic", and it doesn't mean what you think it means.

  • sorry, removed.

  • Homer's Odyssey is epic, not this, sheesh.

  • INCONCEIVABLE!

  • Oh, hell yes.

You, sir, never fail to deliver.

  • LMFAO WITH THE SYNCHING

  • Lol music was in time with the explosions.

  • Didnt they actually fire cannons during the 1812 oveture?

  • I believe that was written into the original piece, though I could be mistaken. I do know that, yes, cannon fire has been used in performances of the piece.

  • @concordat You got it right. Arguably, it is the only classical music composition I can think of where cannon-fire is a required element. If a body isn't using cannon fire during the performance, it's being done wrong. However, in the absence of a working cannon, the explosions caused by ramming a train into the ass-end of a supply depot is widely considered to be an acceptable alternative. :D

  • yea i learned dat in music appreciation at ga southern

  • incidentally, the "Birham wood" thing is a reference to Macbeth (the titular character is told that he will hold the throne until Birham wood rises up to storm his castle, which, like all the the prophacies surrounding him, come true in the most roundabout fashion for the sole purpose of biting him in the ass)

  • @boredmuskoxen fitting, considering the name of the planet, lol.

Yes, I realize I'm being Captain Obvious of the Durr Army at the moment but OH WELL, lol.

  • 5:10 was frickin awesome!!!! ROFL LOL!!!!!

  • 5:10 Ok....now, THATS EPIC!

    ROLF

  • I burst out with laughter when he blew up in the fuel depot. That music got me.

  • the theme of shit exploding folks!

    XD epic win!

  • "NOUH!! HIT THE BRAKES!!"

    *ziiiiiiiiiing*

    "I CAN'T STOP ITTT!!"

    *booooom, bang boom bang boom*

    *BOOOOOOOOOM*

    ...

"I'm sure we hurt 'em this time"

I lol'd so hard back then. Most epic moment in N64 history.

  • loved the overture. very appropriate; and yes, it really is an anthem for "shit blowin' up"

  • "Jamie wants big boom"

  • @evilmidget he should of done a mini montage of "shit blowin' up" using shit blowing up in this game

  • the boss moves like an autistic when it gets hit

  • whats the "instant kill attack" you mentioned? cause that blue light lazer doesnt deal too much damage unless caught n the middle

  • Awesome ending with the music and the fuel depot blowing up! Just like V for Vendetta!

  • haha i like the music for the fireworks

  • maybe the instant kill has a long charge time?

  • All he does is grab you and carry you up until you die. That doesn't sound like a charge-worthy attack to me. : /

  • thhhen, perhaps he didn't want to waste his kite thing before he had many other attacks?

  • oh crap ispelt that wrong

the kite was his last resort, he waited till he had NO WEAPONS left

  • tbh for the 8 switches i thought you were going to play the Ode to Joy but the Overture of 1812 worked just as well

  • Plying the Overture of 1812 to a N64 game.

You've got talent... For what? I'm not to sure... But you've got talent...

  • Happy 4th of july 5:18. lol

  • THIS LEVEL IS A WORK OF ART

  • did any one notice the song at the end of the boss battle is the end song of mario cart racing. ps the reason falco is like ho w he is around katt is because kat is his girlfriend

  • man you have a really low opinion of people

  • what do you mean i have a low opinion of pepol. i just pointed something out. ps sorry it tok so long to right back.

  • pss. if the land master is the size of a small house how big is the arwing, and the great fox

  • And if the arwing is that big, how big are the characters in the cokpit? :P

  • Man, I love the way you talk.

  • Wait, if the Landmaster is that big, and Fox runs it, how big is that switch? Why would the switch be that big? Is the entire train system built around shooting everything?

  • I've heard that music when you defeated the boss... WHAT IS IT? D:

  • it's booster hill from super mario rpg, man concordat u kick ass!

  • No, its the Mario Kart 2nd Place theme.

  • Both.

  • That's the song you get in Mario Cart 64 when you win a race.

  • ur taste in music is good. ur walkthrough's prove it.

  • That was pure genius either way bud, pure and utter brilliance. Good job on the vids and making that guy look like a complete ass LMAO. Keep em coming.

  • He actually sounds menacing when he said, "Tryyy THIS!" unlike his normal self. O_O

  • 1812 was a nice touch.

  • Is it any coincidence that I nickname Macbeth "The SCottish Planet"?

  • I don't think that word means what you think it means.

  • Ah. I see. Superstitions and all that.

  • If Macbeth is about a play where the king kills people to keep his power, then does that mean Max (Fanname for the train driver) disconnects the car to either:

    A. save himself and/or Andross's Macbethian base

    B. Destroy the Landmaster

    C. All of the above

    ?

  • Not quite. Besides, Max cannot be killed by anyone of female animal-born. Fox was ripped from his mother's womb. So yeah.

  • You've all missed the context completely (except perhaps concordat)--Macbeth was also a planet in the SNES Starfox game, and they re-used most of the planet names when they made the N64 game--although Fortuna was not supposed to be used.

  • duh.

  • Well, sorry concordat (and sorry again if I'm taking your reply wrong), but it seemed like these guys were taking the discussion in a dumb direction.

  • and they were, yes, I was basically agreeing with you.

  • I don't remember what the hell my reply before that one is supposed to mean though.

  • Thats more of a mistake on part of the translators. The ice planet is called Fichina and they confused/mistranslated it as Fortuna, which is more a jungle planet in other games and doesn't appear in this game (nor Command, for that matter).

  • I hope they put both planets (and Macbeth) in the next game.

  • at 5:00...I just want to let you know

    we're all counting on you.

  • 5:17 is epic!!!!!

  • Nice timing with the Overture, bro!

  • all hail the 1812 Overture!!!

  • Earliest source I've seen for this as a 'blowing shit up' song: Caddyshack.

  • aw, you shoulda put on video of what happens when you take to long to kill the boss.

    but epic vid, btw!

  • and what happens exactly?
