  • This is freaking creepy man >.>

  • IN THE BOOK THE TEACHER IS 19 AND THE KID SHE REMEMBERED HER NAME IS SUSAN!!!!

  • I don't get the whole point of the story!

  • @PrincessAlyssHearts The point is pandering to the whims and desires of foreign powers and us giving them (without a good fight) our freedoms will turn our country in a country of wimpy, wishy washie shits like France or Italy.

  • You don't think this could happen? Keep pandering to foreign powers like France and other China and this film will become a reality. YOUR children will be in those seats.

  • @darthspeaks The stories about making kids say the pledge without knowing what it really means. What the new teacher is doing is no different than what grade school teachers from your own Country do.

  • If some teacher tried doing this to any children I knew I would go Rambo on her ass.

  • i just read this book it is relle sad how an adult can have such a harshinfluence on childrens minds

  • ...( cont. ) who questions such things. She is seen as undermining the childrens' nationalist identity and affiliation, which would be seen by many as wrong in this case; however, should the kind of subconscious indoctrination, such as the pledge, only be deemed right as long as it is for the country, religious background etc, from which you came or in which you were brought up?

  • This small play illustrates that the pledge of allegiance, taught to young citizens without grasping its real meaning, is a form of early subconscious indoctrination.

The American flag, as any other flag, is purely a symbol, and is no better or worse than the old Roman military standard. What is important is what the symbol represents, and not the symbol itself. This play, however, is from the point of view that it is bad to question such things as it is only the outsider from another country...

  • wtf is this?

  • Is the end scene going to be the old teacher skewered with the flag pole?

  • Man... this is pretty much how it actually has happened, only without a (physical) war.

  • yep

  • Interesting
