I'm here to knock your head off for even thinking about it". plus laraque is on a 4th line combination that did fairly well on the ice last year. so yeah, no one will hurt the little guys unless they want to get pummeled by big georges.

yeah and the sens were completely injured, without most of their good players, we went to the finals last year, you didnt make the playoffs, ottawa played the toughest team in the first round, you guys played the 8th seed and almost lost that series, then got fuckin ass kicked by the 6thh seed team, the habs are good in the regular season, but wont be able to take the cup home ever without getting some north american grit and some canadian players, not like kovalev, who is scared to get hit.

yeah i agree with us not having enough grit. but the playoffs were treated like pre-lock out for us; meaning we were getting interfered, held in front of the net and nothing was ever called. not that its too much of an excuse but it doesnt help our small speedy team. as for grit i think we'll be alright, gainey is gonna sign a big name forward and we got lots of young americans and canadians coming up: kyle chipchura, max pacioretty, ryan white, ryan o'byrne who will only be gettin better.

yeah i know. but its hard to have more local players when all the other teams are getting em first or when douche bags like daniel briere would rather sign with the philadelphia flat-footers than his own provincial team haha. we're getting a good influx of canadians i think though with the previously stated guys. im not worried.

Yes they won quite a few when there were only a few teams to compete against, not quite the accomplishment it is today. Also, they had the right to all french canadian players. That was a beautiful punch Sergei threw, but that upper cut by Redden was amazing. Sergei must have a glass jaw, but I think anyone else would have been hurt by that too. It was a good fight between the two, Sergei just got unlucky.

You know what else is funny, reading comments from people like you. But in a funny-laugh-at-you kind of way. So Redden is leaning over Kostitsyn (probably off balance) and then Bouillon grabs Redden from behind and yanks his jersey in th direction Redden is already leaning. I don't know how everybody else feels but I would expect Redden to fall/trip over. If he hadn't I would be questioning Bouillon's strength, definately not Redden.

how is he overated he was chosen in the 7th round 200th overall and worked his way up to the latter. He fed Kane and Ganger all those points in the juniors to help them earn high draft positions and he was the leading rookie in the AHL before he was called up. The points he's put on the Habs as a 3rd line is pretty good especially for a rookie. So how is he overrated?

I was referring to him in the NHL, not when he was in Juniors or AHL, he was awesome at those levels, now in the NHL...hes just pretty good i would say...and there are alot of rookies doin the same things as him if not more, that are younger and stronger...great heart though.

Redden was throwing little punches at him first. The problem for Sergei is that as a rookie he has to learn how to show well developed veterans like Redden some respect. Crosby had the same problem also when he first started out getting all over Forsbergs case. Sergei knew what was comming to him into that fight and he took it like a man without bitching and that's why as a habs fan is why i posted this video.
