they ARE from athens Georgia but they're the one who started the music craze in Athens. Thanks to them every one who can pick up a guitar in Athens starts a band. Cindy Wilson happens to have the key to the city of Athens. And they AREN'T tacky they've made it to the big time. about 5 golden records. 5 or 6 silver. And many singles sold. Most of the members are rich and loaded. I can't imagine sitting at they're concerts either because their music is for standing up and dancing to. so tempting.
