  • I am sorry but I cannot understand your videos at all. I think that you should do things a bit slower and explain things better because I am only a beginner and I cannot do things at a fast pace and get stuck a lot.

  • Im getting stuck at 1.50, Can you please show where you put it in. Its impossible to see when you dont show where it is....

  • you make no since

  • I have tried this several times but for some reason I get stuck at the part where you slip stitch in the top of the first half double crochet....everytime! LOL! Its okay I will just try it till it works.

  • So cool but hard to follow :(

  • Cool (Y) :)

  • Is there a way to attach this flower or any other one of your flowers to a granny square? If so, do you have an video on how to attach them to already made granny squares?

  • it came out so beautifully, i could cry!!!

    thank you soooooo much <3<3

  • @sillymind1 I am thrilled that it turned out so well for!

  • 45 cents for a hook???!!!!? Wow where do u live? In OK, its $2

  • @BrentBTV I have been crocheting for 28 years. The price is a good example of how durable crochet hooks are and how long they last. I have probably had that hook for 20 years.

  • Nice!

  • Cool Flower!

  • looks really easy! can't wait to make them!!!!!! :D

  • Just saw your tutorial for the first time. FINALLY - a beginner crochetter's tutorial that is easy to understand with clear and slowly given instructions. THANK YOU. Could you please send me the beginner playlist? Also, due to illness, I have a hard time holding onto my crochet hooks. In your tutorial, you use a plastic piece on the grip portion of your hook that looks like it would make it easier, more manageable - for me to crochet with. Where did you buy it? Thank You

  • I´ll start by thanking you for uploading these wonderful tutorials, they are priceless and so are you. And then let me tell you that I´m from Guatemala so my native language is Spanish, because I love English language I started learning it so many years ago, now I´m an English Teacher. The main idea is that I completely understand your instructions (better as those in Spanish) and I´ve made some flowers, edgings, etc fairly nice. I send you my best. Saludos de Guatemala. HUGS

  • @annabella1955 Greetings Guatemala! You are welcome! I appreciate your generous words! :)

  • @mudduck60 You are welcome! :)

  • I love this flower, my friends all crochet but not me, could you send me the beginner crochet playlist, then I can surprise them

  • @1953869 The beginner playlist is on the way.

  • Great job I learned on the first try 

  • I am new to crocheting...and am having trouble starting this flower...when I make it it doesn't look anything like your flower!!

  • @JadeKitty123 I sent you the beginner playlist. It will help you become familiar with the basic crochet stitches and making this flower. Keep practicing and your work will get better. It is common for stitches to be uneven when you are first learning. As you practice, your stitches will become more even and consistent.

  • hank you so much for making these videos. I used to crochet long time ago. I learned to crochet in Russia and I only had diagrams available. Now I cannot seem to find any diagrams here in the US, only step by step explanations which are hard to follow. With your videos I make beautiful flower embellishments for my cards and scrapbook pages. I wonder if there is a website where I can find diagrams for flowers and leaves. Thank you so much. Tatiana.

  • Thank you for your video, is fantastic, I don't understand the english very good but your video I see too easy for make the flower thank you very much. Amparo

  • @AMPAROMAR1973 You are welcome! I appreciate the comment.

  • Thank you very much for sharing this flower. It's sooo cute! I attached this flower on the Kingston Cap ( also your video) i just made. It makes the Cap even more beautiful! I love your tutorials. You're more than great!!! :)

  • i think i need the basics i have a scarf that i want to spice up by adding a flower

  • @jamersonlloyd I will send you a link to a playlist with the beginner crochet stitches.

  • i made mine and it look just like yours,,so cute,i just love it..thank you for showing how to make a flower so easy =)

  • @LAflaquis90 You are welcome!

  • When I make my flowers, they look just like yours, but are a bit curled. Am I doing something wrong?

  • @nmidura You may be missing some stitches which will make it curl.

  • @tjw1963 I thought that might be the problem. I remember thinking that I had missed some of those hdcs behind the stitch but not realizing that it would make a difference. Thanks so much. LOVE your tutorials. That are wonderful!

  • @nmidura That's what I thought the problem may be. I remember thinking that I missed a few but didn't realize it would make a difference. Thanks for the clarification. LOVE your tutorials!!!!

  • I have never ever crocheted before and i was able to easily follow what you ... 2 days after brain surgery that left my hands numb ... I don't know what's wrong with the people who can't figure it out. You are great!!! :)

  • If you happen to be a beginner to crochet and stumble across this project, please ask for the beginner crochet playlist. You can also find it on my channel by clicking on playlist. There will be two playlists with beginner crochet stitches. Thank you!

  • I don't know what is wrong with samiabutt but you do an excellent job on teaching.....I have made all of my christmas present this year with some of the stiches you taught me....please do not be discouraged with insensitive (and dumb) people....lol.....keep up the GREAT work!

  • @eldaaanna I appreciate your kind words, thank you! Some of the remarks come from beginners starting with the wrong project. Nothing is going to discourage me!

  • I like your videos a lot! I already made two cheerful flowers and they look really nice! I just started crochet and learned a lot from your videos.

  • I LOVE your videos, I wouldn't say I am a beginner in crochet, I knew how to make one type of stitches few years ago now I want to learn more stuff.

I ve done few flowers now, but sometimes they tend to be like snugged and tight, like bending forward, I am not sure what I am doing wrong???

However, the flowers I ve done so far are beautiful and my family are in love with them

  • No I take it back i can't even frikken follow what youre doing

  • @brondawg16 I will send you the beginner playlist. Once you learn the basic stitches, you will be able to follow along better with this pattern.

  • I had to pause like every other second cause you move really fast but thank you!

  • You go to slow than to fast... I'm tired of clicking on your videos... U have to many! Sorry! And not everyone is left handed!

  • @Samialbert This is not a left hand video.

  • you crotchet fast hard to keep up and your half double looks different than othera

  • @HellokittyPink13 I will send you the beginner playlist.

  • how many flower petals in the first round? so I know I am on thr right track. It would help to point out. where you are placing your stitches a bit throughout the video.. cause your fast.....and thanks for showing this its fun to make the flowers!

  • @57johns Are you asking about stitches or loops? If you look in the video details below, you will find the link to the written instructions. That will provide further details on the stitch count.

  • I appreciate that you have taken the time to post these videos. I do not do well when it comes to reading a pattern because I am more of a visual learning and never understand what the terms are they use. I made these as hair bows to match some of my daughters dresses. They came out really cute.

  • @homeschoolingmy3sons Hairbows sound like a great idea! Thank you for sharing your suggestion!.

  • Thanks TWJ. it is realy pretty i made it and its beauttiful, you have so manny and so fard i done 3 of them. it is so much to learn with flowers yarn jijij , i am coleceting all i suppost to do something and keep it for paton couse i do not have manny boocks .... thanks aagain the flowers all are very pretty .

  • :) please excuse my silly screen name ...however, I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make these videos available. I have learned so much from you by watching them. I love that I can stop and start them as needed and the slow motion parts help a lot!! You are a wonderful teacher!! Thanks again for all your work and help!

  • this is really fast for me....please slow it down... :(

  • @christinaaaaa I will send you the beginner crochet playlist.

  • Your video's are kind of hard i'm not so much a beggnier but can you make a SIMPLE flower that begginers can make?

  • @CrochetingFreak55 I do have some easier flowers. Are you new to crochet?

  • @tjw1963 not so much i started a year ago and my teacher said i'm moving fast and i'm starting stuff like quilts and big flowers i tried your cheerful flower again you just crochet fast and i can't keep up with you even when i pause and keep going it was the same with your granny square.

  • @tjw1963 no i'm not i started two years ago and know all the stiches i just wanted a small flower to put on a christmas present.

  • @CrochetingFreak55 There are written instructions posted on my crochet blog. Maybe that will work better for you.

  • I just finish my FIRST flower. Thank you for the tutorial, it iwas so easy to follow your instructions.

  • @dezmireanucristinac Congratulations on finishing your first crochet flower! Thank you for the comment.

  • Ah! You are too fast for a tutorial. Even when I pause the vid and play again it is to fast.

  • @chelseamichelle1988 I'm sorry! I will keep your comment in mind with future tutorials.

  • thanks for the video, it so helpfull ^_^
