The L10-11 is by far the best plane I have ever flown in. I flew from Ohio to Hawaii and it was the most comfortable flight I have had. I wish this plane was still in service.
The L-1011 was the most comfortable,quiet plane we have ever been on. It was our honeymoon in the 70's. Strange thing was that we flew all the way from Newark to Miami on a small DC 9 or 10 but in Miami for such a short flight to the Bahamas they used an L-1011? Should of been the other way around.
