Try to expand your close minded attitude for once. There are people who're there on loans, private scholarships, people who immigrated there without nothing in their pockets, starting from scratch. Everyone else has to work their arse off to get here because the very same government screws up equal employment rights and the economy. Even so, you can see intelligent government-funded folks recognizing the sad state of affairs the country is in, and exercising their right to democracy for the betterment of the nation.

I live smack dab in the city, right above a Malay-owned cafe/restaurant whose owner I happen to be good friends with. I think it's safe to say I have more socially aware Malaysian student/immigrant friends than you have over in the suburb, and it's equally good that they're fully aware of how color politics isn't a question but a fact. They -know- how hard it is for students who aren't gov't sponsored

And did you forget these 'rich' families who worked their way up without gov't subsidies also contributed the most in tax monies to fund your sponsorship? I have to work two jobs to survive here regardless of my full-time student position because I don't get the rakyat's money funneled into my personal account, so don't you dare call us easygoing or uninformed.

@capespring memang sistem pilihanraya kita tak perfect tapi mengikut piawaian. kalau kata tak betul 100% kenapa kerajaan kalah 5 negeri dlm pilihanraya lepas... kalau tak betul baik tukar je undi tu bagi kerajaan menang semua... walaubagaimana pun mmg kena ada improvement form time to time. tapi jgn la rally mcm ni ..
