This is why is standing quarter time is so much better. What does this mean? It means the SL55 is very much the slower car.

The difference with the yank motors coming from a British perspective is they last forever. I doubt you could knock the power up on an impreza by 100% and run it with the stock clutch, gearbox and internals for 50,000 miles with no problems. THats what the yanks expect. To be able to pick a supercharger up from the options list install it in a day and have another 250hp. And do nothing more for the next few years except change the oil. You just can't do that with Japanese and European cars.

as the previous owner of a vf39 05 wrx sedan with full supporting mods making 293whp, i can tell you that you're gonna pull an sl55.
there might be a chance at low speed from a light, but outside of that you can't match a 115 trap.
the thing is, it's so easy for someone to say this shit and assume that bc they own the car in question it's somehow legit.
IT'S NOT. you didn't beat shit. i know subarus, i know what they do with mods and stock, 282whp is not beating an sl55 amg at any speed.
