  • Saw Barney McKenna of the Dubliner's singing this song on TV the other night in Ireland. As you say Bob, an eyeopener. A truely simple and lovely song. Well done!

  • Hello Bob I like the way you did this song. I did this song last week myself, drop by and let me know what you think.

  • Great Voice ! Thanks for sharing from Germany.

  • @Lilatsch Thank you very much. It is still a wonder to me that the whole planet is connected. Bob

  • Great voice and clear guitar playing

  • @cheerydavie Thank you. I heard Barney McKenna's and absolutely fell in love with his presentation and the song, which I had not heard before Barney.

  • @BobJohnson194 Have you heard Derek Moffat's version of

I Wish I had Someone To Love Me Derek for 35yrs wsang with leading folk group the McCalmans until his untimely death in 2001

  • @cheerydavie Can you post the Derek Moffat version?

  • @cheerydavie I had not heard Derek Moffat's version. I now have and think is a verly lively and upbeat version of the ballad I sing as a love lost, wishful, presentation. I do a lot of bluegrass and did not know that Monroe sang this song.

  • Much Appreciated Antitodo2889. Your Molly Malone is also very good. Great voice and clear finger picking.

Do you watch Cold Case on CBS Sunday Nights (was 9 PM EST, in Fall will be 10 PM.
