Interesting! I just ordered a TRD B gearing kit from rhdjapan so it is with longer 1st & 2nd (less rev drop) and then stock from 3 up to 5. Could have gone for the TRD A but this has even longer 1st to 3th and a shorter 5 and I want to drift as well plus maintain it as a roadcar so I choose the B. Which one do you have? Sounds like the B as well I know the TRD AE86 from Keichi has the TRD A but also with 4.7 final this sounds wicked though.
firstly, crbaby5414, the cam spec sheet gives a guideline to the cam timing, but remember, its a guideline, not the exact thing. i followed the spec sheet initially and it ran well, but not as well as after setting it physically, the old-fashioned way.
I have exactly the same setup of 20v in my AE86 (same cams,pulleys.valve springs head work, pistons, rods etc) but having real issues getting the camshaft timing setup on the rolling road! Any idea what you have your camshaft timing set to mate? Any help appreciated. Thanks Rob.

at the time of that video, the block had the toda 81,25mm pistons in with stock rods and ARP rod bolts and main stud kit.

@ozzyoz1 its a 5spd 20v box with the TRD gear kit and a 4:3 ratio. it also has a TRD clutch kit and LSD.
