You have to admit that this girl is simply unique... One-of-a-kind, I would say.

Maybe she's not the one who can sing the highest nor the lowest note, maybe she's not the one who has the best vocal technique, but the tone of her voice- the gift she has- granted her the ability to touch people's soul just by her voice. She literally sings her heart out.

Oh no, she can hit high notes, she has a bloody powerful voice - that's why she's so popular. But she doesn't have that kind of voice that isn't so good but it touches people's soul. She's too trained and cliched. That's the problem of her performances. People are going to get bored of her sooner or later.

I have not got bored with her voice for years and I don't know where did you get your info from, but this girl- when she was just discovered by Ellen and Oprah- had not even attended single vocal lesson. It's all her hard works that gained her success today.

It's simply so not right to say "oh, she's too trained and whatnot" because in this world, people who don't practise a lot are those who get eliminated from this competitive industry.

@micanikko ikr im filipino and i watch filipino tv and sometime the singer sounds soo alike becuz they have the sam tone and range. their all mezzo soprano and theirs probably 8 sopranos but nooo contraltos so thats why its sometimes annoying when everyone has the same voice.
