  • my decade of tunes, this is cool.

  • pretty good segues! I'm looking forward to the finished mix if this is an indication :)

  • Have you made a longer mix of this?.. these 2 tunes work so well together

  • Brill!

  • BEAUTIFUL MIX!

  • you've got the beats to relax thrown in there very subtly! i love it

  • Please finish this whole remix, sounds awesome. Would love to hear the whole thing complete.

  • @munypopo i just might :)

  • How sad it is such a short mix!

  • @Plysdyret1 i'm working on a one hour 80's mashup mix, which will include this.. i'm hoping to finish it this year

  • p-machinary vs relax has the the best verses this isnt bad better tyhan miko

  • love duran duran and frankie and all uve done is blended the 2 songs when they nearly finished

  • wot a load of crap

  • @ toscottm: That DMC-Mix you mean was named "Atlantic crossing" and was released on 1987 on "Best of DMC Vol.4".

It was mixed by "The Judge" who's better known name is Alan Couthard.

But I think I remember, that in this mix there was a little bit more of Paul Hardcastle's "19" combined with "Relax (Sex mix12"-version)".

I'm not sure, but this file sounds on the other hand like a part of the Atlantic crossing mix...

  • @LordVader1970 .. well, found that mix on discogs, but that wasn't available over here, never heard it. anyway.. it fits nicely, it would've been nearly impossible that nobody else would come up with this between 1984 and now, right? :)

  • Nice try! This comes from a Best of DMC, I forget what issue. It's only a section clip from an 80's MegaMix by Paul Dakeyne. Whoever suggests that they did this 'mashup' is a liar!

  • @toscottm: don't call me a liar.. i'm not saying no-one might have done it before (being the same key and speed and all, and i'm not familiar with this paul dakeyne), but this mashup WAS made by me with noisetrekker 2final. i used the radio edit from duran duran and the 12" version from frankie goes to hollywood of one of the grand 12- inches cd's from ben liebrand, and i still have the original file.

  • nice mix...i was really getting into it & then it ended...doh!

  • nice - holds together pretty well.... if i heard this back in 84 i'd have been in heaven :)

  • clever

  • perfect mix^^

  • very good love this. how do i put this in my music?

  • What? This works REALLY well! O.O

  • Loved this - great idea!

  • CLEVER THAT WAS
