I've never been to one of his shows, but they sure do sell out fast, and I've always heard how great his shows are. His voice really lends itself to these jazz standards. I think he's done a pretty good job of reinventing himself, staying current, and exploring his art over the years. I was never a big fan; but not a disliker of his voice, but I think he sounds great on this stuff.

When I was young, slow dancing was in vogue. This song, among others, was a favorite to dance to. Holding her close, whispering, "I feel the nearness of you." How nice it was.
