@Xeltosxx no his voice is alot lower now due to voice nodules. Check out iris live letterman 1998 and compare that with the 2011 taylor swift concert at msg. Also listen to "all eyes on me" the alblum version and youll notice his voice has gotten progressively lower.

he's not sick, just getting older and can't hit those high notes anymore, so he sings the entire song in a lower octave. still sounds good though

Good catch. I actually lowered the pitch of this song to get around the "copyright filters". So he does sound deeper than normal.
