I'm glad most Pilots are happy, i've heard of some that put their hands up, blocking their face from the camera or even refusing to go past until spotters go away.

yea the dutch pilots almost always wave.. the good times at the 24/06 runway at the cargo area... almost everytime the md-11's from martinair would taxi by they would wave.. very friendly!

sorry CKaviation maar de boeing 777 staat er om bekend dat hij de krachtigste moteoren heeft uit de vliegtuig geschiedenis! en "aircharts" heeft gelijk... 777 verslaat de md-11 en elk ander vliegtuig

nee volgens mij is zelfs de a380 minder krachtig... en het is een 4 motorig toestel dus dan moet je hem vergelijken met een 777 met 4 GE90 motoren dus ik denk dat de 777 de komende jaren nog wel op nummer 1 staat

ja maar ik heb een veiliger gevoel bij boeing dan bij airbus alleen al doordat ik een keer de cockpit besturing van een a340 gezien heb, die word gevlogen met een hele kleine stuurknuppel met 1 hand, en daar zet je minder kracht dan bij boeing dus ik ga liever voor boeing en de 777 is volgens mij ook nog geod koper

hahaha klopt, airbus heeft een nieuwe besturing systeem zgn "fly by wire". Het vliegtuig wordt dan eigenlijk door de computer bestuurt. Als de piloot de stuurknuppel beweegt, gaat er eerst een signaal naar de comuper en dan pas naar de rudder, ailerons of de elevetors. Als een piloot een handeling te overdreven doet grijpt de computer automatich in. Dus het is eigenlijk heel veilig bij airbus. hahaa :)

het type toestel maakt niet zozeer veel uit. alleen die russische kisten zijn slecht.. maar verder komt het door achterstallig onderhoud en fouten van de bemanning.

Ik weet heus wel dat de 777 betere motoren heeft ik zei dat als ik in de md-11 zit ik meer kracht voel. maar daar gaat bij mij helemaal niet om ik vind persoonlijk de md-11 een fijner vliegtuig maar dat is mijn mening en vind de md-11 echt moooier maar ik weet dat veel mensen het met me oneens zijn.
