I found the green test connectors behind the driver side footwell side panel on the left side. According to Subaru though, there's no need to connect the Test connectors while installing an Accessport on a 2010 WRX. Not sure if it applies to '08 & '09 though.
I have a 2010 WRX and found that my green connectors were already connected when I found them on the passeneger side? All instructions say to connect in order to enable test mode, but mine were already connected.
This video is bullshit!!! Anyone out there have an 2008 WRX and can't find the green connectors?! I have waisted more then hour trying to find these connectors only to find support for 2002-2007 WRX. Help me please before I throw the accessport at the ground.
@tna3333 Yeah I found them under the passenger side. Same as the legacy GT and the Outback. They just under the carpet on the upper left side. They will be green with foam around them. I think they should make another video explain this. I think Subaru did this because a lot of components are the same as the Legacy platform.
There is only a male white/translucent connector under the dash. The female end comes with the Cobb AP. There is also a blue female connector in the kit if someone has a older model. My 05' uses the white/trans connector. BTW, I got my C AP yesterday. I installed the Stage1 93 octane map. I feel more power, and smoother shifting. I'm pretty satisfied so far.
In the video it says use the provided white connector. This part isnt clear. Where is the provided connector? Under the dash already , or in the Accessport kit? I'm asking because I only have one white connector, and two male/female green connectors.
Actually, when it comes to the white/translucent connector........there is only one connector under the dash. It has a male end. The other connector ( female end ) I found out comes with the Cobb Accessport kit. You have to use the connector from the kit and attach it to the connector under the dash. I have an 05, so I have to use the white connector. There is also a blue connector in the kit for those with older WRX models. Video doesnt show whats in the kit.
so is this stage 2 or acces port does that just mean it can now be programmed with stage 2 sorry im new at all this

im pretty sure that the white/translucent conector is already there, its just somewhere near the green connectors that you plug into one-another
