On January 4, 1992, New Japan Pro Wrestling. It was Muta and Sting vs. the Steiner Brothers, Before the match, Great Muta sprayed blue mist into the air. As far as I know, this was the only time he's used it.

Maybe I was mistaken. I thought it was blue mist, but maybe it wasn't. I think it was prior to a match with Sting around 1991 or 1992. But I could be wrong. I'll get back to you if I find out.

Awesome outfit and gimmick. Scott Hall, Hollywood Hogan, Kevin Nash, Crow Sting and nWo Muta would be a formidable set of villains, but Muta only had a couple of appearances on WCW. It would be great if he was more involved in the storyline. Loved it when he blew mist at the clumsy Giant/Big Show.

what are you talking about Muta was in WCW for a few years during that period of time :P. Just WCW didn't use Muta right at all.

He was contracted but he didn't made many appearances or even matches for that matter. He had some memoriable matches like his match against Giant/Big Show. Other than that, he was on the background or just posing while Hollywood Hogan and the Outsiders had all the attention.

His earlier run in WCW was much better. He had some great feuds with Sting, and even teamed up with Sting. Even then, NJPW brought out the best in Muta.
