I find it amazing when I hear the stats newspapers publish about the high % of Americans who believe(d) the Bush Adm drivel in the leadup to the war. I'm not sure I trust their stats. I and most of the people I know were outraged from the start and knew BushCo were fabricating evidence. But then again I live in the Northeast (blue state country). I'm very grateful to Moyers and other brave journalists who have stood up and spoken out to educate citizens on what's really going on.

I served honorably for many years in the military including 3 tours in the middle east. When my last enlistment ended, I refused to reenlist because I have a brain and I could see where Bush's QUAGMIRE in Iraq was taking my great country. Really important piece. Thanks, Moyers. The books mentioned - esp. Lapdogs and Pretext for War should be required reading. Our "free" press is not free from Wall Street nor are they free from Gov't influence. We used to say, "500 channels and nothing on." When it comes to news it's, "15 channels and the same thing on."

I really wish people had looked into this issue the same way Lisa Finnegan did in her book "No Questions Asked : News Coverage Since 9/11". She spend a year to document the failure of the US media and her book is an excellent example of the history of the media coverage since the attacks of 9/11.

Obviously, this program demonstrated how inept NBC News really is. No one asked hard questions, including Tim Russert and David Gregory. What is even more troubling is that the network celebrates its connection with the White House. A few weeks ago, the Today Show "featured" David Gregory as a back-up singer to rapper Karl Rover. Just what we need...a White House correspondent who is willing to be a goof for a presidential assistant who has orchestrated an immoral war.

Bill Moyers needs to be president to stand up to the liars in the white house. then we have the sheep Bill Orielly to tell us to shut up when he feels we are unpatriotic? Name a single Jew who ranks higher than George Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, and Condoleeza Rice.

Jew-related? That really is anti-semitic. The Neocons gave us the war, because they use Israel (they don't care one little bit about its security) and are close to the right wing of Likud. Also, the extremist Christians want a war in Israel over Jerusalem because it starts the Second Coming. So the "Jews" don't cause the war; it was right wing extremists. To blame that on a whole religion is really too stupid to deserve a comment.

I find it amazing when I hear the stats newspapers publish about the high % of Americans who believe(d) the Bush Adm drivel in the leadup to the war. I'm not sure I trust their stats. I and most of the people I know were outraged from the start and knew BushCo were fabricating evidence. But then again I live in the Northeast (blue state country). I'm very grateful to Moyers and other brave journalists who have stood up and spoken out to educate citizens on what's really going on.

Moyers, as president, would add intellect, wisdom, and ethics not seen since Geo Washington. If the "power elite" and "most wealthy" of this nation had to serve along side our most patriotic volunteers and those from the disinfranchized sectors of our society, we would not get involved in 'episodes of choice and machismo.'

Bill Moyers is a a truly wonderful journalist (in a time where they--good journalists--are becoming fewer and fewer). This should be an extremely insightful documentary--hopefully many will watch. It's still amazing to think how the Bush Adm. was able to push this illegal, unjusified and unnecessary war on the American people. Unfortunately, our (so-called) free-press were allies in pushing this war on the people.

Corporations have not been formed for the betterment of the general public. He is not intolerant of Christians. Study corporate capitalism and fascism. He has never advocated Marxism or Capitalism.
