It is easy to see Asperger's as a disability (which it kinda is). but I like to see it as an evolutionary variation (sorta like X-Men)! That helps me to deal with it. Being who I am is always a problem, but I do get what you are talking about. When I was diagnosed with AS, the doctor told me to foucs on the strengths that came with it (and the one's I have inside). Life in a neurotypical world for an aspie is rough, but it can be fun, too. I find it kind of funny to tell people that I still like cassette tapes. I also like fans, cassette players, anything electronic. When I was younger, I always liked watching the VU level meter react to the recording of the cassette.

obsession with engines and fans? Theres nothing wrong with that, And i've never seen any acting odd lol. i thought that it was a bit different that you liked fans so much but hey, it's what YOU like.

if people have a problem with it, they should keep their mouth shut. i've got tourettes and it's a PITA when the tics come (i "huff")

well i have had it i0 have almost killed my slf and i had a brake up with my gf and i stoped doing my school work and would go crawl in the corner and im guessing 4 u it hard doing school work / paper work but its ezy to do the same work but hands on i ll make a video
