for the effects i used Adobe After Effects along with a very nice plugin called Particular. Very Handy stuff.

I imported the sound into Affter effects to animate the particles to but i renderd out the movie clip only...i later added a nice higher quality version of the song using Adobe Premiere. ...

The real track is called "Firefly" by a band called ALPHA. Somewhere along the line, somebody screwed and edited the track and named it "music to fuck to" by Portishead. Portishead had nothing to do with the track. But you can find it in Limewire by Portishead and anywhere else. Needless to say, the song is fucking awesome! I love the original, but the screwed slowed down version is a lot sexier.
