FINAL OUTS AT YANKEE STADIUM

John Sterling, my all time favorite baseball announcer, been for over 20 years. I listen to him on 790 WPRV in Providence, RI and on 880 WCBS when on vacation in Cape Cod, MA. Suzyn Waldman is fair at best. I miss the days when Micheal Kay was with John on the radio in the 90's. John and Mike made a great team, also with Charley Steiner, who is now with Dodgers radio. Interesting now that my favorite manager Joe Torre and all time favorite Yankee player Don Mattingly are with the Dodgers.

Michael Kay was on ESPN doing the 8th inning because it was a national telecast.

John rules. Yankee Stadium from 1976-2008 did NOT. The real Yankee Stadium closed 9/30/73 when the Tigers defeated the Yankees 8-5. Ernie Harwell announced the final out from that one. Someone needs to find the audio and put THAT final out up.
