It annoys me when people try to add weight to their arguments by beginning with something intended to make the other's actions sound worse by using an already agreed-upon piece of information. (Bleugh - horrible sentence.)

In this extract, the caller begins with "This is a murderous man" in attempt to add weight to his argument. He _deserves_ to get interrupted.

After the west decided to not be his"friend" anymore, they imposed sanctions on Iraq.

Please read up on the sanctions (they don't sound like much but are horrific)lasting 10 years and directly killed 1 million.

If he says he protested against the 'murderous' Hussein since 1979, why did he praise him to the skies in the 1990s!! Why did he tell Saddam's son, Uday, that he would be "with him to the end"? If your daughter or sister had been raped by Uday, or your father or brother tortured by Uday, how would you feel if a British MP, grinning like a Cheshire cat, promised the perpetrator of these heinous crimes that he will be "with him to the end".
