  • you got really close!!

  • this eagle must know how it feels when degenerate kids come up to watch you eat!!!

  • that would make for a good pet

  • the eagle is like:

"Yes gather round....Gather around and bask in the glory of my kill!!!!!!"

  • great video, but next time keep your distance and don't scare it off, you ruined it's meal.

  • LOL. take that Canada!

  • @TurresaaDo haha what i was thinkin'

  • stupid jerks let the bird you see he's hungry !!!!

  • Canada goose. Not "Canadian"

  • the great hunter actually had to kill something, how strange ----on vancouver island they just sit trees above the campbell river highway and wait for road kill lol

  • lol its like who the fuck is you nevermind ima just eat

  • canadas national bird just got raped by americas national bird LOL

  • @lemuelpop Canada's national bird is the fucking snow leopard. Eat a dick, fuckface.

  • @lemuelpop you're a dumbass LOL

  • @jonnyjb69 suck my dick LOL

  • @lemuelpop C0K00's lame joke aside, Canada doesn't have a national bird. In actual fact the most popular choice among Canadians for a national bird (according to polls) is the Red Tailed Hawk, which has more cultural significance to Canada than the Canada Goose... whose only significance is a coincidence in nomenclature. (The Canada Goose was named 100 years before Canada united as a country, one is not named for the other.)

Also, this doesn't look like any Canada Goose I've seen.

  • @LaverickPhoenix cool story bro

  • such a beautiful animal. I'm jealous you got so close. Once in a lifetime. Way to go...

  • That's a scary bird.

  • such a beautiful animal

  • Damn, man....why you had to get so close???

  • great job...that must have been some thing to be that close up...again great video

  • thats not a canadian goose, by the way

  • ima punch in tha forehead for bothering so elequent creature in eating his prey to survive in the winter im gonna cock slap ur mother and im going to rape ur mother and ur father and ur uncle EVERYONE

  • thats cool as hell dude

  • Lucky I was not there or that eagle would have been taken down as the saying goes.

  • Dude.

Not cool. The bird is exhausted from taking down a goose. He doesn't want to relinquish his catch and he's really nervous. He doesn't know that you don't want to hurt him, and asking your gf (or whatever she is) to pet him and getting that close isn't helping. He really needs that food to survive the winter (which is probably pretty hard on him, seeing how the lake's frozen and having to hunt geese) and now he's wasting energy and might lose the catch to other birds. Leave birds alone.

  • @roflcopterIII bahahahahahahhaha do you actually believe all that bullshit you wrote about the eagle?? believe me eagles don't work hard for their kills ,they are opportunists that take easy prey and road kill. don't believe all the movie crap

  • @Garrys300 While bald eagles are first and foremost opportunists, that doesn't preclude them being forced to hunt other sources during the winter. There've been a number of reports where eagles have killed large birds (like geese) or other animals, if more preferred food isn't available. Look through some of the other youtube videos for evidence of that. By the looks of it, this guy wasn't able to eat his usual fish/carrion because of the weather- he'd be a lot more skittish otherwise.

  • @roflcopterIII why would weather be any kind of factor? roadkill is roadkill in any kinda weather.more like the duck was a set-up or more likely weak and /or injured ,again eagles are opportunists 1st, and determined hunters only when they have to be.trust me I see them everyday, come to Van isle see how many nests line the highway near the many deer crossings.

  • @Garrys300 Roadkill can be buried by snow or frozen enough that the bird can't eat it. Or where they shot this video might be rural enough that there aren't that many opportunities for an eagle to take advantage of busy roads. Plus, like you said, it might have been an injured goose. Where I live, wintering bald eagles don't stick around where they usually nest- they head down to Starved Rock because there's an open body of water there and fish. There's not enough roadkill to keep them happy.

  • Ok so...cool close-up but... did you stop to consider the high mortality rate of raptors in the winter due to starvation. was it REALLY THAT necessary to intrude THAT closely. The birds hesitation to abandon its meal in the face of a group of hominids, should testify to the animals desperate state of hunger . sorry to be preachy, but how about a zoom next time. -Stone Ridge resident

  • Thats the biggest cocktoe right there

  • Go Canada !

  • gory sight

  • Did I hear it asking for Hoi Sin sauce ?
