Louis in a sense is the demographic opposite but moral extension of Cohn. That's a hideous irony. He just seems to flap around grasping for scapegoats, talking about everything and nothing, skirting the central issue which, like Cohn is a self destructive fear and self-loathing.
I bet that Ethel really loved it when she defeated Roy as an angel. As Ethel finally it seems got her revenge on Roy. For sending her to the electric chair.
@MileyCyrusVideos23 if roy hadn't been sick and hospitalized, but back at the office, moving and shaking as usual and had tried to bed him i think joe would have slept him down the line. joe is weak like that. i could see the handsome intern sleeping with his boss if roy hadn't simply been too sick to seduce him. joe is ambitious enough to sleep with power..ie roy..to get some power. he thinks like roy. he just wants to be powerful.
The fact that Cohn had AIDs didn't come out until after his death. They panel knew that he was dying & made great haste to disbar him before he died. At the time it seemed like overkill to disbar him on his death bed but in retrospect, better late than never. Better still, had the decision been more timely, Cohn would have been rendered less harmful years before.
I hate every scene with Louis. He is so fucking annoying, there is nothing to like about him. He has no idea what he's talking about. He's a coward and no I don't sympathize with him at all because plenty of people have stood by those they love no matter what and don't bitch out. He's such an asshole
His theories are bang on, and to me he seems the character who is surest of his own convictions and beliefs - even more than Belize or Mother Pitt. But when it comes to attesting these values in his personal life, he falls short and is weak and hypocritical. Louis would make a good politician.
@shakeluver4 i agree completely. louis is freaking stupid and doesn't deserve happiness; however, i will say that this scene of him and joe was stellar acting, great job on the part of ben shenkman.
right from when he was diagnosed (in ep1 or 2?) he was told it was AIDs but didn't want anyone else to know so he told everyone it was liver cancer...
I don't like Louis, but I have to say that I loved him in this scene.

@MileyCyrusVideos23 No, he didn't. He just works for Roy and Belize made the assumption that he was sleeping with Roy.
