@rjtrejoa I don't think you could gig it if you wanted cleans, it gets quite crunchy well before it's that loud.

@fender7682 Yeah, but when running the JCA flat out adding a DS-1 didn't make it any louder I don't think, but it was more "searing" if that makes sense.

@njdnjdnjd I use it live all the time, most places like here it's mic'd up, but I have played with it un mic'd before.

I have another video where you can hear it unmic'd live through a borrowed 4x12

Hey Rob awesome playing! And the tone is easily comparable to that of more expensive amp heads. Its an awesome amp! Can you say what is in your rig btw?

@angrych It is a fantastic amp, and even at 20 watts, plenty loud enough to gig. I really couldn't recomend it enough. All the rhythm parts are just the JCA20H running with gain on full, volume about 3/4. Bass full, middle and treble about 3/4

I use a very dry signal, so no effects except a Boss DS-1 to add a bit of bite for the lead parts. There's a link to a playslist of tracks from this gig at the end of the video if you want to compare and contrast the sound with and without the DS1

@eriwebnerr Thanks, those were clips from my first show with the new amp (Jet City JCS20H) I was VERY pleased with how it sounded even recorded on a crappy camera etc it sounds cool. I don't know about stealing the show, Hazel is pretty mad onstage (even if you can't tell from a 2 minute compilation of solos.) Great front woman, most of the time I struggle to get any one to notice I'm there when she's doing her thing :-)
