No, they don't recommend wet apps below 60F and they don't recommend any application below 40F. However, it can still be done with some success as this video demonstrates.
I do recommend warming the substrate if at all possible, but be careful, some substrates do not like to be heated (such as annealed glass).
alright -- so here's where i pose my question. when i'm applying and the temperature gets below 50 degrees or so, i start getting issues of the adhesive not taking; what do you recommend in situations like so (outside of heat gunning the surface until it's at an acceptable application temperature)?
does oracal guarantee vinyl applied in temperatures below 60 degrees? a lot of the vinyls i work with don't...
