  • Hi,i was wondering if any of you could give me more information about Tabasco poisoning, its common in the somali community in sweden, and its deadly ...the Tabasco which is preserved as wine and kept long after its expire date its added to the victims food and it attacks your stomach, your stomach will rotten and you will die ,pls if you have more info let me know, thanks

  • It would be far hotter if dissolved in either alcohol or propylene glycol- because capsaicin crystals will not dissolve very well at all in saliva, so without being dissolved into a liquid, the capsaicin molecules don't make contact as often (the majority are still stuck together in the crystals).

  • i never comment on videos usually, but you, are a fucking idiot. it doesnt come close to the bhut jolokia? you're a moron and a douche, pure capsaicin dissolved in alcohol or whatever else is literally the hottest thing in existence, the crystal form doesn't engage the nerves properly.

    idiot

  • as pretty much everyone else has said in the comments u need to dilute it in alcohol to awaken its effect if u would have done that you would not have even been able to stand it for 3 seconds however i bet u had one hell of a stomach ache because the chemicals in ur stomach will certainly cause an uproar

  • U need to dilute im alchol to get the real effect...

  • Wicked, you handled that shit like a man! I can't even handle to many flamin hot cheetos hah

  • This guy's got balls. He just took pure motherfucking capsaicin. And he looks like he's just smoked a ten footer...

  • wow he took it very well, i thought he was gonna FLIP SHIT when it came in contact with his tounge

  • @wankelcrazy Could you please message me back and explain how you were able to remain so calm? I've read that this particular item can cause severe pain and burning ... yet ... you remained extremely calm. It almost seems as though, even someone who regularly eats very hot food products, would be affected by this, the hottest on the Scoville scale...

  • theres no way that anyone could eat a 16,000,000 SHU pepper and not freak the fuck out...or die

  • This thing is hotter than 100 completely naked ladies!

  • Capsaicin is about 16 million Scoville units of heat. If you were actually eating pure capaicin, your flesh would be chemically burned as if you were eating acid. this isnt pure capsaicin

  • Ted the fire breathing idiot here. Hey if you want to see people consuming capsaicin then check me or Darth Naga out. This guy I believe had the real deal but he did break it down in alcohol. Eating raw capsaicin will not have the desired affect but CAN PUT YOU IN THE E.R.

You need to dissolve the crystals/powder in warm alcohol.

  • Dude, did that burn your taste buds off?

  • A real man would have snorted that

  • i love your deadpan

  • Is the "bite" immediate or does it take time to reach full throttle? I know the ghost pepper takes some time to reach it's maximum intensity (Approx 5 mins ) so that is my question(s). Thank you. BTW. you never flinched, WOW.

  • Your really boring..

  • he is tempting fate with the pocket knife

  • I played with this today, for science, i didnt not eat it of course, and used gloves and a mask. 16 million the highest heat of a pepper is the butch t pepper. He is dumb

  • why do you say liberal so much, you aren't using it right at all...

  • if you dont use alcohol first it dunt work

  • i kinda miss some hysteria here

  • Do a bump of it like it's coke.

  • @CrazyOldMaurice69 hahaha you read my mind

  • P.S. You sound as if you're on something.

  • Comment removed

  • You sir, are a noob.

You do, indeed, have to activate Capsaicin with alcohol. It may partially dissolve in saliva, but you get nowhere near the full effect as if you'd dissolve it in alcohol.

If you're gonna do something, do it right.

  • @KillerAttackPenguins Yup! That's pretty much what I paid, get some and have fun!!!

  • seems pretty fake to me

  • Absolute bollocks.

  • Ok, firstly let me just say I give you major props dude, I just made some capsaicin crystal by ethanol tincture, I wouldn't have a clue on its purity but I'm still to scared to put any on my tongue. You are one hardcore chilli head.

  • @trevgall1982 Thanks bro!

  • @wankelcrazy i cant even eat a chilli without crying XD

  • you need to disolve it in alcohol first.

  • @Chillimanfly Do some research yourself. It is partially able to dissolve in alcohol, but alcohol can alter a lipid's structure. Propylene Glycol would be and is a much better liquid in which to dissolve it. Also, the tongue is more than capable of tasting lipids and fat-soluble substances. Can you taste butter? Olive oil? Vegetable oil? Tallow (animal fat)? Notice a difference? AMAZING!!! And yet you did not have to dissolve those fats/lipids/oils into anything.

  • @wankelcrazy fiesty! lol thanks for the info

  • That stupidity of commentators on Youtube is almost beyond compare...I would put WoW boards above it, but just barely. The dude is actually eating the stuff. Just because you couldn't do it without crying for your mama doesn't mean that others like the OP couldn't suck it up.

  • the way he's talking he ate coke not pure capsaicin.........

  • @MICKEYISLOWD 1) I didn't think I was talking that fast, or as if I had a numb tongue 2) Eating coke would be a waste of money, it would go in my nose 3) I'm prescribed adderall, thus negating the need for me to buy coke

  • Respect, whats with all the freekin hate lol

  • Firstly sir, may I commend you for having some serious balls for consuming capsaicin in its pure form. And secondly, may I show my respect for your eloquent, level -headed and witty retorts to some of the dunderheaded imbeciles posting comments on this video. I also commend your aptitude and accuracy in stating that capsaicin is best dissolved in propylene glycol, that's what we always use.

If only more YouTubers were like you pal, this would be a much better place to be.

  • @BarryDong Thanks Barry, appreciate it!

  • fake

  • You are great! I don't know if you meant to be - but your calm, very descriptive words had me dying of laughter, I love a dark sense of humor. I just subscribed, you kinda' remind me of the male version of me. :)

  • Haha good for you faggot coffee beer every day lol. The words of a liar!!

  • Haters gonna hate, everyone calling bull shit are pussies, I eat habanero's with almost every meal I've been doing it for almost 10 yrs. There's just something about a chili high that keeps people like us coming back nice video by the way.

  • Yeah rite. People always try to over do it pepper spray 5mil scovilles ghost pepper 1mil scovilles. People cant handle ghost peppers and even worse pepper spray. Pure capsaicin is 16mil scovilles thats a trip to the hospital by the way I didnt even watch your video cuz I already know its bullshit!!

  • @dbjones254 I commend you for reaching a new low for ignorance and idiocy on YouTube, that's a bold achievement! If you notice, I have a video of myself eating one of my huge ghost peppers, as well as an ghost pepper oil extract tutorial video. I use either the bhut jolokias, the bhut extract, or capsaicin crystals daily on my food, in my coffee, and my beer when I drink. It is nothing more than tolerance and an understanding one's thresholds.

  • @wankelcrazy what a lie

  • @phrozonfire Maybe with a licence from the government to hold neuro-toxic substances then yes, you can then buy it. It's like saying YEAH MAN YOU CAN BUY ANTHRAX.

  • @shad0ex Capsaicin from edible chile peppers is allowed in human food by the U.S. FDA and other countries' health regulatory bodies. In the U.S., there is no maximum amount of capsaicin for food products. In the U.S., Capsicum spp. peppers are allowed as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) under 21CFR182.10, and use of pepper spray for self-defense is exempted from control by the Chemical Weapons Convention. Capsaicin extracted from plant sources are also GRAS under 21CFR182.20.

  • @shad0ex Eat it and go fuck yourself.

  • Pure Capsaicin isnt effective unless you mix it with alcohol. The amount you took would probably give you a heart attack if you mixed it with a shot of vodka. FYI

  • @longroadshome Do some research yourself, maybe even get a degree; they help. It is partially able to dissolve in alcohol, but alcohol can alter a lipids structure. Propylene Glycol would be and is a much better liquid in which to dissolve it.

  • that wasnt pure capsaicin. why would you lie. its pretty obvious that your lying. for one it only dissolves in alchohal

  • @NightTurkey82 Do some research yourself, maybe even get a degree; they help. It is partially able to dissolve in alcohol, but alcohol can alter a lipids structure. Propylene Glycol would be and is a much better liquid in which to dissolve it.

  • @NightTurkey82 Alcohol. That is how you spell it. Alcohol. As in "if it was not for alcohol, you wouldn't get an pussy" or "if it wasn't for alcohol, Darwin would be correct and you're genes would not propagate into the future of mankind".

  • 15,000,000 (15 million) scovilles in your mouth,yikes.

  • Pure Capsaicin can (easily) kill you if you eat it. It will cause skin blisters from just touching it. It is like nerve gas to breath even just the TINIEST bit. This is defiantly not 100% Capsaicin it is not even close. Pure is 16,000,000 Scovilles pepper spray is only 5,000,000. YOU CAN NOT BUY IT.

  • @shad0ex you can buy it well at least you could.

  • @shad0ex You can indeed buy it, for a high price

    google blair's 16 million reserve

  • This is so funny. Just the way you describe it... Wouldn't it be better if you just went OH MY FUCKING GOD AAHAHAHAHHHHHHH and drunk lots of milk?

  • @alexlordcool Yes, probably would've been funnier. I shot this being as honest and objective as possible, not for entertainment.

  • snought it i dare you!!!!

  • U r do ugly

  • chuck norrises weakest salsa ingredient

  • I just found a guy with the EXACT same capsaicin and propylene glycol that I ordered... I ADDED IT TO THE DESCRIPTION

  • I'll make another one shortly, and I'm trying to figure out a way to demonstrate that is is the (at minimum) 95% pure capsaicin that it is, without breaking animal cruelty laws, having PETA on my ass, or any other similar offenses...

  • Its really creapy when you are so close to the camera dude..

  • @MrZeppelin1988 It might not look like it, but I'm not claiming that it was pleasant or comfortable; I only say that there have to be other capsaicinoids in Bhut Jolokia's and similar peppers as they have the "creeper" effect and not the slap to the face reaction that habanero's and this pure capsaicin exhibited. Stay tuned for my Bhut Jolokia oil extraction video, and subsequent consumption videos to be posted soon...

  • I dont understand how you can hack it so well, your insane mate!

  • Pure capsaicin is three times worse than pepper spray, and can be deadly in large doses. It causes your body to inflame itself and you go into bodily shock. Unless you have been building up an enormous tolerance since your birth up to this, im pretty sure this is not pure capsaicin. I would like to see a video of you pepper spraying your mouth, and see how youd handle it. Should be easy if this is legit. By the way, try to dissolve it in something. Some strong beverage or something and have a go

  • @iTardification Actually, capsaicin is anti-inflammatory, so no it wont "inflame" your body. Capsaicin is not corrosive, its not damaging. Capsaicin wont kill you unless you have an allergic reaction, or you go into shock (lets face it...never really happens). All toxicity studies on the substance have shown that the lethal dose of capsaicin is remarkably high (13 grams or more in a CHILD), a little amount like that would NOT be fatal. Not even close. Also, extreme tolerances can be built.

  • @d4rk0v3 Capsaicin is a highly irritant material requiring proper protective goggles, respirators, and proper hazardous material handling procedures. This is facts: The inflammation caused by the burn or physical abrasion that the body believes it has undergone can potentially cause tissue damage in cases of extreme exposure, as is the case for many substances that trick the body into inflaming itself. The capsaicin in itself isn't damaging, its your body that damages itself.

  • @iTardification If you know of any that doesn't have UV dye and is safe for ingestion, i.e. 100% consumable, I'd do so with pleasure. Check out my Bhut Jolokia video if you haven't yet

  • I wouldn't have done that with a knife - my first reaction would be to think I had stabbed my tongue with that much pain

  • The true heat from the crystals is not released or more specifically realized by the pain receptors of the mouth; unless dissolved in a compatible solvent such as alcohol.

Heat the same dose in a small amount of vodka, and then give it another run.

  • Bro they use this shit to treat diabetic neuropathy...

    shit's hot

  • @WhiteCollarCrimeDNB I'm REALLY interested (and if I had the money to spare myself, I would) to find out what other capsaicinoids are in the Ghost Chiles/Bhut Jolokias/Naga Morichs/etc. that make them so much hotter in a very different manner... The fact that they continue increasing in heat for 15-45 minutes and then are able to sustain that heat amazes me, it never gets old.

  • I have some propylene glycol I'll dissolve some in. It is source tested to be 95% pure using HPLC.

  • Also, the things that make me question the validity of this video: even if this guy did build a tolerance to cap with Bhuts, they are only 1/16th the strength, Blair the creator of the 16 million reserve tried his only one of his 'pure' crystals and was blistered from doing so, also it would take a little over 250,000 gallons of sugar water to dillute one grain at 16 million which makes me wonder...

  • It can't dissolve properly in water, or in saliva....

  • You did it wrong. Dissolve some in a little Vodka and then warm a it a little to make sure it's properly dissolved. You will never have tasted anything hotter.

  • From what i understand, just eating the pure cap, you won't be getting the real effect of it as your saliva doesn't properly break down the crystal. Put that amount in a shot of vodka and see what happens. To be fair, though, you're the expert here. I'd like to see a video of it though.

  • @WillyWonkaIsSatanic I was just going to suggest the same thing. Put it in a small amount of vodka, and shake that up, which will dissolve it.

    Film that

  • Since pure cap doesn't burn as much as Bhut Jolokia's whole chemical profile in your opinion, why do pepper spray manufacturers use capsaicin and not all of the capsaicinoids from the Bhut Jolokia?

You said that Habanero has a more quick impact like pure cap, but when making pepper spray out of ground pepper, what would burn the most and be more immediate/effective? Bhut Jolokia or Habanero (If concentration wasn't a factor)?

Btw, you are one tough dude...

  • Well, it depends on your intent and if/or how much you like pure heat. Honestly, I prefer nagas as the ones I grow have a very distinct sweet mango flavor that I've become addicted to, but I will say the pure cap comes in handy for pranks, bosses, and tough guys who think they can handle anything. Once I finish the website I'll start a limited production of naga extract. The pure cap is insanely hot, but over quick, unlike the unique characteristics of the bhuts/nagas/etc. Look on eBay for it.

  • @wankelcrazy You need to have your cap source tested. It is clear from the video that it is cut with something/

  • i think i know what you got there. i think i saw the same thing for 100 ish dollars. do you think its worth it?

  • nah, if this was pure cap, your body would go into shock, not only would you not be able to talk, dont tell me people react differently coz i understand that, its impossible to just down something almost 16 times hotter than the naga viper, so this aint pure cap m8

  • @Xxrandomk1dxX Well, considering the peppers I grow are the world record holders for heat, and I eat them daily I have acquired a heck of a tolerance. Just because I don't show that it looks like it's raping the fuck out of my guts does not mean it isn't pure. I have the lab results that verify and confirm it is 95% pure cap. The small vial is 40ml. The amount on the tip of my knife is a decent amount, but it is fluffy since it is in pure crystalline form. I'll try whatever you got and post it

  • @Xxrandomk1dxX Besides, the Naga Viper is only a myth as of right now. There are no peppers or seeds available, and it is no understatement to say the SHU scale for testing anything of this magnitude is extremely archaic. I congratulate the grower in the U.K. for his achievement, but it won't be official until he can stabilize his hybrid, and get many samples tested by HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography). When New Mexico State Univ. does these tests, and Guiness accepts it, then okay.

  • @wankelcrazy This is a controversial issue for that reason- Guiness has officially declared it, yet it is not stabilized as of yet. The question then becomes; should the title go only to open pollinated peppers and not hybrids? (Personally I feel the Bhut is still the hottest until they can stabilize the Naga Viper) Also, no significant testing has been conducted on the Viper yet either, so until then...

  • @Xxrandomk1dxX The peppers and seeds I sell average 1.1 million (there is a wide amount of variation with all Nagas, Bhuts, Morichs, Trinidads...etc., I don't think I'll be noticing a difference in the heat until maybe 1.5 mil but prob. 2 mil. Also keep in mind that cap alone does not come close to the persistent heat of these peppers. Its a fast bang, then its over quick. The Naga's/Bhuts increase for 15 min and persist for 1-4 hours. There are many other capsaicinoids that are at play here.

  • @Xxrandomk1dxX I'm not taking this personally or being defensive. I'm a mechanical engineer and unless humor is the explicit intention, I take any scenario like this seriously, do my homework, and have the lab results to back it up. Email me at TheBhutJolokia at gmail dot com if you want to try some cap or buy some seeds or peppers...

  • @wankelcrazy as i forgot to take some gloves down to a playing field where i was holding a mini chil fest with my mates, the chili got into my fingernails and the capsicum got into my skin, i went to bed at ten o clock that night then actuallly got to sleep half nine the next morining (this was only sunday-monday) but thanx anyways mate, ive sent you a friend reques :)

  • @Xxrandomk1dxX I agree, this dude is so fake. 100% cap at the amount he took would be "lights out"

  • Dude, even though you started to sweat you still managed to keep that "I don't give a shit" look on your face. Priceless!

  • i thought you could only taste the heat since its only soluble in alcohol?

  • @StirsMYCookiez Actually, its soluble in oils but also works in an emulsion (oil/water mixture). If it was only soluble in alcohol, and not in an oil or emulsion, than eating a pepper would yield no heat, ya know? Also, it does not need to dissolve to reach the receptors. It is hydrophobic (doesn't like mixing w/water) but will still enter and activate the receptors just fine. Try it for yourself! And considering water and alcohol mix just fine, it would be slightly soluble at best.

  • @wankelcrazy Oh okay thank you very much, i bought some crystals and put them in alcohol and had a teaspoon haha it defintely reaches your receptors!

  • Nice laptop

  • @tomgreene121 Know anybody interested in buying one?

  • Want to see the lab purity test? It is 95% pure capsaicin and if you think it isn't I'd be more than happy to do another video with what you have.

  • trust me it wasnt pure. if it was pure you would puke and not be able to talk or think straight and could go into cardiac arrest

  • @apprenticesurvivor PS. Gauge my reaction to eating a whole Bhut Jolokia with the majority of the others on YouTube. I am not boasting, I worked very hard to achieve this level of tolerance. Sure, I could've hammed it up to get more views, but whats the point. It is subjective, as all chemicals/drugs/experiences in life are; everyone will react differently.

  • @wankelcrazy im not doubting in the least that you have a high tolerance but 100% pure capsaicin can make a person (family friend) who eats some of the worlds hottest foods cry like a little girl and puke

  • hey....i have the same laptop.=)

  • @Rebornprodigy22 They're badass, huh bro?

  • @Rebornprodigy22 Know anybody interested in buying one?

  • Youre crazy as hell. Good stuff!

  • OH yeah, and I love it! I'm addicted to these peppers...

  • My face seriously starting sweating after watching a few of these videos. The kind of sweat I get from eating peppers. Ever experience that? It's december, my hands are freezing, but my face is really hot.
