  • You have great concepts I think. If I were you, I would look more into proper mixdowns. Mixing can make or break a beat. Also, try to focus on build ups and transitions to keep the mind and ear of the listener guessing. From One producer to another, good luck and I hope it helps!

  • @Gerard2286 I know my beats are not professionally produced, this is just a hobby of mine. I know it can be improved on but I don't really mess with mixers and stuff... don't really know how or have the time to learn. I am focusing on comedy now (about to start doing standup) I just enjoy making a decent beat every now and then. I was about to learn how to play piano to learn proper chords and things but now that fell to the side too, haha.

  • @MadMarcusProductionz Also, this is a rap beat so I don't have to mix it up and always keep the listener guessing like techno or dubstep. Its suppose to be about the lyrics.
