  • ok...a Pokemon sound for a stage clear? lame.

  • what a mess of a game, wtf was that supposed to be??

  • There are some people on this planet that still call this game ROCKMAN !?? Rockman was the japanese version and it was only used for the very first game of the series.. it's MEGA MAN, say it with me, -M-E-G-A M-A-N!!

  • @Zekee27 have you done ANY research, AT ALL? you just made yourself sound like an idiot, in front of any knowledgeable Megaman/Rockman fan. Rockman wasn't just used for the first game, it's used in EVERY JAPANESE MEGAMAN GAME. Megaman starforce's Japanese name: "Ryuusei no Rockman" Yeah, ROCKMAN. and that was a RECENT game. "Mega Man 2, known in Japan as Rockman 2: Dr. Wily no Nazo" but yeah, i'm sure you get the drift. do more research before you make yourself sound like an idiot, okay?
  • @ChessPieceRook we;;, do you live in Japan ?? Exactly, so stfu! and LOL @ looking like an "idiot" in front of "knowledgeable Megaman/Rockman fan", you couldnt sound more like some sort of a melodramatic supernerd if you tried your hardest... do you seriously think I care what you people think, like my life depends on it? lol please

  • @Zekee27

You know, I don't really remember saying you cared.

And if you cared so little, why did you bother to reply?

Oh, and for that matter, why should I have to live in japan to know those things?

Each time you reply, you're proving you don't look like an idiot, you're just proving you ARE an idiot.

    Congrats.

Also, have you ever thought to try a spell-checker?

  • @Zekee27

Although, I have to say, aside from those few flaws, that really was a good come-back! :D

And i really mean it, i'm not being sarcastic. :)

  • @ChessPieceRook judging people based on one paragraph, good or bad, THAT's what an idiot is.. I'm done here mr supernerd, in case you wanna keep this going till you get the last word cause you're so insecure and the internet is your life... cheers!

  • @Zekee27

You're not so much of a Saint yourself.

"you couldnt sound more like some sort of a melodramatic supernerd if you tried your hardest"

Oh, and more recently, "mr supernerd"

Which by the way, should be "Mr.Super-nerd"

    Nice try though buddy. :)

Keep trying, and you'll easily best me in this argument, probably even tonight. :D

And I mean it, no sarcasm, i'm a newbie at countering and using other's words against them, as you can tell. XD

  • @Zekee27

Anyways, can we continue tomorrow night?

It's getting late here, and I need to get ready for bed. :D

While I get some shut-eye, come up with something hard for me to counter, please, because to be honest, this is fun trying to see if I can find flaws in your arguments and use them against you. ^^

Thanks for the practice dude, and i hope you get some good sleep too! :)

  • This is a fantastic hack, and a solid stage that stands good on its own feet, but what really makes it fantastic is the music (yes, and the boss itself!). Marche Militaire, by Franz Schubert is a bit too jolly, but elsewhy perfect for militairy uses, as, say, intro for Challenger. There it make sense, in that version. Here it is just so absurdly unfitting, giving a really eerie, disturbing Tiny Tooney feel to it. It's pure art! <3

It was also used in Disney's short movie, Santa's Workshop.

  • @Petfal

I'm evidently not able to post links to back up my crazy propositions, but if you type the following searchwords, the named videos shalll show up as the first alternative:

    1) Marche militaire Schubert

    2) Disney Santa's workshop

    3) Nes Challenger

  • y did it play the pokemon music at drill man?

  • Crashman Hologram was pretty cool.

  • Did anyone notice the Metroid reference at 3:39 ?

  • Game looks AWESOME! i just wish the music where not so... childish happy in most stages (though i DO love Pharaoh man's stage music)

  • what song is this? I played this in piano class?

  • @presidentevil this music is from Challenger the NES game

  • @kokroy NO WAY!!!!!! THIS SONG IS HERE THE BRAVE SOLDIERS , or something like that.

  • could you put in the video's description where to get this demo please? I have the old one, the one that doesn't have Drill Man, but, really we would appreciate it a lot. Thanks!

  • I dont think Drill Man's immune to hell wheel. I used it on him once and i killed him.

  • At the very end of the vid he uses hell wheel and pwns drillman in like 2 seconds XD

  • My eyes almost melted from the Drill Man fight.

I can't imagine how you maintained composure, I would be panicking wildly at that point.

  • Ah.. He makes you work for the Wire and Balloon Power-ups. Very Nice.

  • DANGIT

I need to find the IPS patch of this so I can play it

    Can someone tell me where?

  • Impressive. Puresabe has made a lot of advance towards the developing of the game!

There are so many things that are referenced to other megaman games that makes this hack stand up moreover than others... Enemies from all the series appear and hurl over megaman in an EPIC clash of unknown proportions...

I'm shocked. This hack, when finished, will be one of the "must play" for many megaman fans. Myself included.

  • Not only do we have Mega Man Forever, Odyssey, and Ultra 2 (in addition to the MM10 fangame), but we got this epic beast in the works. Quint, the Sakugarne, Crash Man as a bonus boss, and the new Drill Man stage...yeah.

I'm wondering, though. With all the work the creator is putting into the regular stages, will the boss refights later on reflect similar lair layouts? For example, Skull Man with the slanted sides, Pharaoh Man starting on the top and crashing downward, and Drill Man's lair.

  • i like how sakugarne instakilled that one jumbig.

WAYYYY better then the old sakugarne

  • Ummmm... where can I get the new hack. I've been looking on google but I can't find it. I only got the old one from a youtube video(can't remember which) so I have no Idea where to look. Could somebody help me.

  • @1:00 how are you supposed to get down without the HCR Boomerang or a similar weapon?

  • You can break the blocks you're standing on by sliding. You need a lot of room and it doesn't seem to work all the time, though.

  • Oh Good because the last thing we want to have is outside a Wily/Cossack stage is YOU MUST HAVE ITEM X to continue.

Also is the wire STILL as useless as ever in this?

  • If you just go right at around :30 you can take another path that has no such blocks.

Wire's a lot better. It uses no weapon energy, can be aimed, and clings to walls and ceilings alike. I think Bluestar899 used it in his playthrough.

  • Yea I saw it it in his playthrough and wanted to see your thoughts on the topic.

Also was that Crashman also easily beaten by the Wheel?

  • Not affected by the Wheel.

Dies after about five charged Pharaoh Shotgun shots, though.

  • whats emulator you use please pm me or comment

  • at 1:00 sliding

  • Again so damn epic boss fight... I mean without Hell Wheel.

  • With everything I've seen so far, I really hope ballade will be somewhere in the final version. Nah, actually it would just be horrible if quint was there but not him.

  • Great scott!

  • I loled at the end

  • wow really awesome, thats one of the best hack i have seen yet, and it's still not finish... wow... i let qzecwx play the hack game for me and only watch he's video to see what the hack look likes, but this one, and it will be finish, i will try it... awesome with to much epicness, must play that shit yo!

  • Looks like the creator really did some work since you last played this. I like what happened with the boss music when Drill Man went Limit Break on you, too.

  • Pokemon and Metroid themes in a Megaman game?

    Awesome!!!

  • I didn't expect this version before. Best damn hack ever made.

  • Man, the more I see of this hack, the more awesome it looks.

  • Crash man is immune to hell weel, I think

  • Man, Drill Man's freaking crazy.

Hell Wheel is still crazier though. Most broken weapon ever, except maybe Dark X's two minute time freeze.

  • EPIC CRASH MAN IS EPIC!

I must have this! NOW! :-D

Everything about RM4 MI is so TOTALLY EPIC!

  • So, uh, who's the boss that's immune to Hell Wheel again?

  • So...I assume that the falling ceilings insta-kill? Just thought I'd ask anyway, though.

  • Yes it does. I actually got caught a couple times myself from the ceiling and dieing automatically.

  • The music sounds like it's from an 8-bit sports game.

  • It's actually from a Famicom game "Challenger"

  • Nice. Thanks for the information.

  • I wonder what else was modified in this new demo, or where the .ips is since I can't seem to find it on his site.

  • Wait a minute, Drill Man's not the boss that's now immune to Hell Wheel?

  • Track 24 (unused IIRC) from the MM5 .gbs is the title theme? Awesomesauce.

  • wow! this is looking awesome!!

I can't wait to play the whole game when it's complete! :)

  • That was probably the second best MM/RM hack level I've ever seen.

  • 7:11 nicely done lol

  • Looks pretty awesome, I just wish I could get the damn patch application to work so I can try it myself.

  • This stage is just one huge GameBoy reference, huh?

The large drills from Napalm Man's stage in MMIV (though they might be in MM5, I don't quite remember), the falling rock platforms from Pharaoh Man's stage in MMIV, Quint, Doncatch from MMV, Sunstar battle music when fighting Crash Man... Did I miss anything? 'Cause I think I may have.

Also, that fight with Drill Man was intense. Especially toward the end.

  • The drills also appeared in the NES version of Napalm Man's stage, but weren't as creatively used.

The Hippo from Stone Man's stage in MMIV, the missiles toward the end that were also in MMIV which mostly appeared after you defeated Ballade (escape sequence) and the hammer enemies from MMV that were also in Dust man's stage.

    I think that's it. XD

  • It would be incredibly awesome if Sunstar himself was in the game. He was the only non-Wily final boss in the entire classic Mega Man series, right? O:

  • Right, unless you count Rockman Shadow or MM2 GB's Wily's Mini Me. <_<

Yes, Sunstar with 28 health and some actual post-damage invulnerability would be pretty awesome.

  • Ah, I knew I recognised the Crash Man battle theme when I faced him myself, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. It fits quite well, too.

I can't wait to see what Puresabe has in store for the rest of the robot master stages. He/she knows exactly how to make each stage fresh, new and exciting, without deviating away too much from the originals.

  • That was an awesome stage. Rockman 4MI is quickly looking to be a very original hack.

And Hell Wheel is still rediculously broken. I mean that was insane damage.

  • I love how the hackers puts in so many things in the stages.

Looks great, can't wait to see the final thing.

  • lol That Drill Man fight was BRUTAL. Can't wait for an entire play through.

  • Wow. SCREEEEEEEEEE.

Hell Wheel still broken beyond belief. Haha.
