Sonic The Hedgehog (Sega Megadrive version) on Nintendo Gameboy Advance (GBA)

This is actually a port, not emulation. They borked a lot of the physics up. Notice how Sonic jumps back when you jump against a rock? That's not meant to happen, I'm sure.

I think much of the bugs are obvious when you play the game at speed, but you seemed to be deliberately playing slowly, which naturally would hide a lot of the problems in the port.

I take it this isn't Sonic Genesis, the general consensis is that Sonic Genesis is a piece of shit. Your dog sounds angry, perhaps he doesn't like the sounds from the game.

if you just bought this to have in your collection, i guess there is some value in it, but if you are playing it purposely to try and complete it then you are going to hate it, check out the review by my friend (youtube friend of course) AllieRX87

it is an official release by sega. They still made it crappy tho lol.

I guess coming out near the end of the GBA's life, it just didn't make it into the mainstream shops in the uk, or at least, none around her. I never knew it, till it turned up on ebay.

Apart from the slowdown, which does spoil it a bit, I like it a lot... but then I'm a fan of the megadrive original.
