  • Nice video

  • i subscribed :) nice see native ppl keeping up on history me i mostly have salish in me

  • saw a vid on tv with Bad Hand and Roger Daltery of the Who a few years back, had a simulated buffalo hunt, etc. cant' find hide nor hair of it....any clues?!?

  • Lakota

  • very informative. thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge

  • Wow, thought I knew everything but you've taught me a lot that I didn't know and all of this critisim about enemies? I would say it's about time you all get over it! What happened to "we are all related"?

  • based off all this intense materialism, i suspect these Indian tribes were a bunch of assholes. if someone were the wisest of a tribe, they shouldn't be distinguished with all that extra gaudy clothing. a wise leader should elevate the consciousness of a group so that all are valid authority figures. this just goes to show how easily this tribe was capable of having dissent rise amongst its own ranks. i bet anyone who challenged the leader was beaten with that hammer. buncha pot smokin jerks.

  • @katsumorymoto Your arrogance and ignorance of native culture and customs is egregious. And to have the gaul to try and teach them how they should have humbled themselves is the epitome of childish arrogance. First of all learn a thing or two about these ppl before shaming and embarrassing yourself with your injudiciousness.

  • @4295eye It would be like if European culture was extinct, and you see a guy wearing a crown with a scepter and diamond jewelry standing next to a guy with a cross and a bible and you spend the whole length of the video just explaining how honorable it was for these people to have and wear these things, that's a telltale sign that these people lack basic knowledge of core philosophical principles. Core concepts such as efficiency, justice, and freedom define a culture, not possessions. Asshole..

  • @katsumorymoto Moron there not extinct there alive and well thank God. And again you display your total arrogance and nonsensical attitude toward a ppl you truly know nothing about. Get off your shit stand and preach your morality somewhere else. If you knew their customs you would keep that egregiously gapping hole in your head closed and learned to think before you speak. This video is a basic example of dress for advanced ppl who know a great deal about this culture. Go back to pre school

  • hey? have you Absaroke cats ever visited youre cousins in Central Asia? if you want political backup, it lays there in populations of millions and millions! tell them everything the "Americans" did to you! if you now see youreselves as American, ok, but you know you must share the old sad story with youre cousins! here they are>>watch>>"HQ: Shahrizoda: My Sorrow (Dardim)"

  • / who is this guy ? that fact that you say "Indian " says it all !

haten bad , but really Bad Hand?

  • I have had the honor of meeting and spending 3 days with CHIEF CLARENCE SPOTTED WOLF (aka BISCO).... he is a Northern Cheyenne chief who just died yesterday..... I just put up the video I made of him on my site today again... I made it 3 years ago honoring him because I knew he was ill..... You are welcome to come see it..if you are interested..wondering if you knew of him? He lived in Ashland..... Wonderful job you did on your video... really fascinating...

  • y isn't the crow insulted to wear an enemy warrior outfit?

  • it was the spanish took scalps. you are a liar

  • I think the United States Goverment should have put this dirty animals called Indians altogether in a Fort and then set it on fire! They were pagans, devil worshipers, and thirsty for white blood!!!!!

  • @QueenBrendaSIV nope!! Jus thirsty for yours, next time so it our faces instead of hiding behind a computer!!

  • @QueenBrendaSIV It was their land th biggest mistake every race of native ppl MADE on every continent is being friendly & welcoming white man into their. Africa, India, Australia, Nrth & SOuth America, Asia should have killed every white man they saw bcz they brutalizd colonized raped inslaved ruined ALL history & culture disrspcted and ruined by the white devil. They used the pagan sun satan cult CATHOLICISM 4 EXCUSE CMPLETELY DSTROYED THE BIBLE & CREATED ISLAM. WRSE THNG 2 EARTH WHITE MAN

  • @QueenBrendaSIV Your a racist despicable liar and pathetic excuse for a human being. Why don't you raise your right hand and say hiel hitler. Whats even worse is the fact you don't know your history, or you would have mad that statement against the government's policies toward native americans.

  • @4295eye Darling, I am a peruvian girl, and YES, I KNOW MY HISTORY!

  • @QueenBrendaSIV Ah your peruvian, so stick to peruvian history and stop commenting on ours. Your second rate racist education of native history and culture in North America is very apparent, so why bother writing such nonsensical twaddle speak? Stick to Incan and Conquistador history, not that that would be much better but at least your speaking of your own history.

  • I can speak about whatever the hell I want to, and I don't need some stupid new-age dirty north american scum telling me what i can or can't do so shut up dickhead. I really feel sorry for your country, it used to be such a beautiful place, their constitution and law controlled by the word of God.....but now it's just a piece of s**t so full of homosexuals, muslims, catholics, blacks, and other nuisances like you. Btw, who are you? Are you a white trash or an indian one?

  • @QueenBrendaSIV You can deny till your blue in the face but I have you clearly stating that Lean Bear was a dog soldier chief, and went to scout for the army in 1866. The dog soldiers originated as a military society within the cheyenne. Porcupine bear was outlawed by the dog soldiers when he killed his cousin Around. The society was disgraced and he and his family and friends were also kicked out from the cheyenne tribe. That started a new shoot off from the cheyenne.

  • @4295eye Washte!, maybe I did it my dear, but I don't recall it very well, anyway it was Bull Bear, a cheyenne dog soldier and scout for the army in 1866. After that he went very, very bad.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV Your low insults are truly telling on what kind of a racist degenerate you are. It's true that bigots, miscreants and libertine ppl infest my country. But you should feel right at home among them. You call yourself a christian? You are an ignoble Pharisee and know not the meaning of the gospels of Christ. As to who I am, that is not your business, I don't associate with the rabble of this earth(aka you or ppl like you) only to chastise them from uttering there plebeian rubbish

  • @4295eye "plebeian rubbish", why do you have to be so rude? that's no way to speak to a lady!, (supposing you're man), and when I asked to know who you were I was only trying to be more understanding, well if you're an Indian you have every right to feel offended by my first comment (which btw has received 4 thumbs up) but according to what I've read, this sioux and cheyenne were really blood-thirsty and mistreated awfully their white captives even the little chidren....

  • @QueenBrendaSIV "plebeian rubbish" is most definitely what you have spewing thus far. Not to speak of your racist degenerate comments. You asked me if I were "white trash or an Indian version". That is not the utilitarian peaceful comment of lets listen to the facts that I present or who I am. I don't care if it received a million thumbs up, there are many racist plebeians ppl that agree with you. They are the same as those who deny the Holocaust no matter the volume of facts proving it.

  • @4295eye Sweet native american (i suppose you're one), I apologize about calling you a "white trash" and a "mattress of fleas". I really am sorry, I did not want to sound racist.....but you're a little discriminating too, when I told you I was peruvian you sent me back to my high school history books about the Incas...do you really think that I would be here in this webpage commenting about lakotas and cheyennes if I didn't already know everything about the Incas and every culture before them??

  • @QueenBrendaSIV You make a very bold statement of your expertise on every civilization including the inca. You would have to be far more than 19 to hold that much information. Most of which is not totally uncovered by modern day archeologists. I suppose you think the genocide committed on the Inca by the conquistadors was justifiable too. Tuff love for pp who needed to be civilized. My comment about staying in you own country was warranted, but not racist. Keep to your own history was my point.

  • @4295eye Why can't a 19 year old woman be an expert in pre-columbian civilizations? About the Incas, I think they were much more civilized and advanced when in 16th century that those american injuns in the 19th's, but, since I the only thing you know about them is the word "Inca" I won't write about them.

PD: I still think you're a mattress of fleas.

  • @4295eye 3) Why did they treat this four girls like crap?, I don't think that Addie (7) or Julia (5) participated in a massacre of indians in their short lives, I don't think they even murdered a cheyenne, now, why were they starved, beated and hurt in that way, and don't tell me that if they would've been cheyennes the whites would've treated them the same way! That's a shallow excuse,

  • @QueenBrendaSIV The fact is the white men would have raped and killed them out right and running three year olds used as target practice. There is the reason for the vicious and brutal atrocities committed by these Cheyenne. One of the warriors included in this massacre was buffalo calf woman who, at sand creek, had her mother executed in front of her and a soldier tried and rape her before she shot him and escaped. Government commits the genocide and German family massacres are the result.

  • 4) And I consider you thoroughly educated to realize that the cheyennes were in fact evil people who needed to be taught civilized ways. That's all, I would like to know your opinion about that specific massacre.........I love you honey, answer me, and please tell me who are you, "4295eye" doesn't give me a clue if you're a male or a female, or if you're a human being or some random series-number, OMG, that's it! You're a robot, I knew it!.........well, it doesn't matter, I love you the same.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV Now don't miss quote me I gave the reason for the massacres I didn't say they were right. But how dare you imply that the natives needed to be taught civilization by European slave owners . They must conform to the white elitist form of civilization? What planet are you from Nazi's incorporated!? That statement shows how little you know, other than reading one sided accounts against a ppl who are in the mists of being systematically destroyed.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV As to myself I am no robot but a very well educated person of many races. Part European, asian, and native american. I'm an all american Mutt so to speak. How can you now preach love? When you are full of such hatred toward a ppl you barely understand? Even with the atrocities my government and whites have committed, I don't preach hatred toward anyone including you. I seek only to educate. I chide anyone regardless of race who preaches elitism, racism, and bigotry.

  • @4295eye Ok, ok, ok Mr. Educated person of many races, I tried to be nice with you, but can't hold myself for longer..................I PREACH HATE AND I LOVE IT, I HATE CATHOLICS, I HATE HOMOSEXUALS, I HATE DEMOCRATS, I HATE NON WHITES, I HATE EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY WHO OPPOSES GOD'S WILL, now I feel better, and I don't give a f**k what a fat middle aged stupid injun thinks!

  • @QueenBrendaSIV If you have so much hate inside your self for these people than why you watch these videos?! Nobody asks you to do this or say something about this!!!

  • @puchuks Don't be stupid, it's my pleasure to cause as much pain as I can, especially to those who aren't protestants.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV ''God'' isnt real, get over it.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV you must hate yourself so very much. you must find yourself totally loathsome. too bad!

now here's one for you: I am Catholic, homosexual, a democrat, a native american and Slavic, and I don't do well with so called "whites". But since we all were created by the same Creator, we're all in the same boat. So quit rocking it!!!

  • @josephR1938 What are you, lakota, cheyenne, crow, shoshone?

  • @4295eye Why don't you read this: "A fate worse than death: Indian captivities in the West, 1830-1885", "Dog Soldier Justice: The Ordeal of Susanna Alderdice in the Kansas" and "Girl captives of the Cheyennes: a true story", it may disclose a little bit the kind of "big heart indians" that the cheyennes really were, they considered a high honor to kill and scalp an enemy or even a stranger, or anybody who wasn't one of them, do you consider it fair?, they raped and mistreated white captives....

  • @QueenBrendaSIV If you studied your history you might realize that they didn't go around like Freddy Cruggar and scalp anyone on a wild abandon. This is another racist remark. Many wanted to be left alone but were being systematical exterminated by the american government. This led ppl on the verge to cary out certain acts but a killing women and children was not encouraged and looked down upon. Do you consider Sand Creek fair, do you consider concentration camps fair. Do you call genocide fair?

  • @4295eye 2) Not need to mention that every female in the famiy was raped before getting killed. There was this woman, name Mochi, who killed John herself and then tortured the four surviving girls. The girls were raped by every male in the war party. After her release, Catherine commented that nearly all of the tribe had raped her. Now, do you think it was fair the treatment these people bestowed upon the four Germans sisters? And No, I don't think Sand Creek was fair!

  • @4295eye By the way, I don't deny the Holocaust and sometimes I style myself Mrs. Freddy KRUEGER.

  • @4295eye They commited unspeakable acts over defenseless strangers, and took pleasure in recounting their most ruthless coups, they were revengeful beyond reason, they were proud, evil, selfish, haughty, and knew no mercy in battle. Do you really admire this men? Well I don't!

  • @QueenBrendaSIV Defenseless strangers is a gross and pathetic exaggeration. No one was defenseless on the frontier. Scalping women and children was no honor in there way of life. Sometimes it did happen but this was not encouraged. It was more of a dishonor than anything. If you knew the process of a coups then your statement makes no sense a coups isn't ruthless. Yes I have read many white account and many loved there experiences with the natives. Many did not wish to leave.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV The fate worse then death title has to do with the savage racism in white community. And this was attributed to the Comanche. After a woman had lived with the Comanche she was an undesirable whore in the white community better off dead. The comanche and other tribes weren't so racist. This segregation is pathetic and deals with white elitism. Because if she had been raped by a white man no one cared. Many saloon whores became wives and respected members of white communities.

  • @4295eye 1) In "A fate worse than death" you can find that 40% of the captivities they write about were perpetrated by cheyennes. There's one that makes me especially angry, it's the German family massacre. They stopped one night to rest, and the next morning all of a sudden 19 cheyennes appeared and killed John, Lydia, and all of their children except Joanna, Catherine, Sophia, Addie and Julie. Joanna was afterwards raped and shot before the very eyes of her remaining sisters. continue next...

  • @QueenBrendaSIV And not to judge ours. The German family Massacre is a sad fact in frontier life. I never said atrocities were not committed. But I will point out that the aggressing cheyenne were victims of Sand Creek. And while i make no excuse for there action there hatred and acts make sense. Even with these atrocities they don't compare to the acts of sand creek. Again all 4 girls survived and were married settled in colorado california and Kansas.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV I crossed comments with you before, you don't know history at all. You claim Dog soldiers were an outlaw band and Lean Bear a "dog soldier chief" went to scout for the army in 1866. Both are dead wrong. Dog Soldiers aren't a tribe they're a warrior society within the cheyenne, all western natives tribes had many warrior societies. Lean Bear was killed in 1864 under a white flag along with the entire village. You said something about knowing history? Go back to Peru

  • @4295eye Mira imbécil colchón de pulgas, I perfectly know about warrior societies inside a major division like Oglalas, Sans Arcs, etc. I never said anything about Lean Bear being a Dog Soldier. Just google this "about 1837 the Dog Soldier Society, led by the famous outlaw, Porcupine Bear, broke through the old tribal custom and changed itself from a society of warriors to a camp or a separate division." and "Bent typically called the Dog Soldiers tribal "renegades" and "outlaws,"".

  • @QueenBrendaSIV I'm white but I understand that you don't know nothing what really happened and who wanted who's blood!!! Whites could stay were they are and let indians live in that beautiful way they were living in their land!!! Don't say things like these - it's even hurts me - I can not imagine how much it hurts indian people...

  • @QueenBrendaSIV You ever hear of hate crimes? Hate crimes are also the spoken or written word. Youtube needs to pull out and delete everything you say. Freedom of speech, yes, but you go beyond that with your venom.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV I totally agree.

  • my children are mandan via their great-great grandmother and I would love for them to know their roots. They are Araucanos on my side but I canot teach them abour their mandan roots. If there is anyone who can help us I would love to speak to you

  • thankyou

  • if you do not mind I would put this video on my blog. I'm french and I interresse many First Nations

  • the sad thing is rich white people are still killing native's in alaska canada and in brazil over land that don't belong to them even in parts of russia. there forceing tribe's in brazil out of the rainforce over oil.the brazilian government said there will no more indigenous tribes by 2020 take in mind that there's thousand's of tribe that have never seen other tribe's let alone white people. survival

  • KOOL! this is kinda like military badges or pieces.

  • you said that you have more to post but i've only found two more videos. Is that cause i am stupid to find them or there are no more? :) ... any way love the vids, wish they could be longer but you are doing your best i am sure :) ... keep up ;)

  • This stuff is really cool. I have always had a great interest in the Cheyenne people as well as the Lakota. The Crow were cool too. I had posted on another one of your vids in the question of whether the Crow and the Cheyenne were foes. In the post by Payu7 my question was answered. Anyway, good job on the vids. The regalia was really beautiful and educational at the same time. Thanks

  • Hey Ya , from Montana usa...peace

  • I respect the fact you took the time to do the video. All I was meaning is perhaps you should have found a member of our tribe to help you with it. Our All Crazy Dog Clans were a sacred clan and to have their regalia worn by a Notse tribe can stir some emotions perhaps. I would love to see peace among all our people but I fear that may be a long time in coming. Good job on the videos...keep them coming...if I can help in any way feel free to contact me.

    Hah'oo

  • @Payu7 hello,,, Thank you for your reply. I understand where you are coming from and if I had more time and financial backing I could make an incredible video using tribal members from various tribes , each to only portray or 'be' who they really are. But as is , I had very little time to do these and they were all done in less than an hour. I have more to post and will do so as soon as possible.

Thank you for your words and support.

  • Ok FIRST of all Crow were Notse!! Enemy of the Tististas people so seeing our Gear worn by a enemy is a insult....sorry but being true...it would have been better to have found a Tististas to wear that.

    Hoot'se Nagaa'haxaaa Notse Hovapeva

  • @Payu7 Well we all do whatever we can , when we can with what we have at hand. Another way to look at it is this, to continue the Old Ways of hatred against each others tribes is non productive for all Indian people and one of the many things that have held Indian people back for a long time. How's abotu just being proud and happy someone took the time to make all of this stuff and then video tape it.

    Thanks still for your input.

  • @Mazawakansapa Yes. There is enough hatred in the world between races. As indian people we don't need hatred between tribal nations. MVTO

  • @Payu7 Hi, Just wondering who the Tististas people were? I have never heard that name before. Thank you

  • @yupyup1562 Tsitsistaists is an informal spelling of the Cheyenne word Tsétsêhéstaestse, which means Cheyenne person.

  • @wobeck Thank you so much. I've had plenty of free time on my hands lately and got into researching the first people of North America, their lives and what really happened over the last 300 years, not what I was taught in school. Tough finding truthful resources. Any info. you may have would be great.

  • Thank you, very informative. And thanks to Denny K for pointing me here too.

  • Great Vid. Nice info. Proud to know you

  • Nice work NB! I didn't know any of this! It's fasinating to know how and why.
