I have a Philips 35w one sitting around somewhere, with a ballast to drive it. Interesting also to see one of those photocells in the middle mounted on-top. Do you have the other part to the photocell set-up, the 'test-switch' bit?

I love watching SOX lamps warm up - I've got a few 55w, a 35w a 90w and the big 180w (which is in my parents loft I believe, stored, not for lighting!). I prefer the older type that used the deep ruby red neon rather than the light pink.
