This video relates to me a lot. I think sometimes that sarcasm is funny and intelligent but watching this video made me realise that this might not be the case-that it only leads to insults and someone turning into a pessimist.

@AegeanKing Nowhere in the Quran there is the ruling for death for apostasy. Even in the hadith, the death penalty is more for treason (people who leave Islam and be a source of harm for the Muslims). Most countries punish treason by death even today.
@dwarriorwithin As you know, the Quran is not the Only authority in Islam. Both the Quran and the Sunnah play a role. ALL 4 schools of Sunni jurisprudence believe that there is death for apostasy. If you like, I can give you multiple examples from Sahih al-Bukhari. There is a reason why Saudi Arabia kills for Apostasy.

First of all, we do not change anything in Islam, even though Christians are most flexible in taking liberties. Secondly, Islam is a system (without going into detail with you), but most of your information is from the viewpoint of a private, personal affair, and you do not have most information about the consequences to society of Islamic laws. Allah designed Islam to result in a modest, healthy society, without broken homes, where poor are cared for, and parents never end up in old folks homes

Islam has rights for wives, and Allah knows the nature of men, so men are allowed up to 4 wives so that women get rights the proper way, and not used and dumped like the West likes to do with their girlfriends and live-in relationships etc. Men stare, men buzz like bees around women. If a women wears a headscarf, she advertises modesty, if she comes swinging her hips in a mini skirt, you're already encouraging a literally diseased society. CDC data: 1 of every 4 U.S. citizens now have an STD.
we all need to think dat our attitudes define our fate ...so the more polite u ae the more oppurtunities u get be it making frnds,finding love or finding a job :)

When you defend yourself by adding the words "i love you for the sake of Allah," to the end of your "conversation" it does not detract from the bullying. When you divert the topic into asking about his hobbies of weapons, that is called insinuating. And I, dear brother/sister, dearly hope that you are not doing this consciously.

The Prophet (saaws) advised us to help the oppressed and the oppressor. And helping the oppressor is to stop him from oppressing. Our actions are not excused while we are online. Many times we don't even realize that we do until someone points it out. I hope you realized that even though you thought you were showing "love," this 10 yr old child did not feel like you were loving or kind because of the disregard for his request. May Allah guide us to the path that pleases Him. Ameen.

Brother I like your speech but would it be possible for you to do the following:
When you talk, close the Quran (perhaps keep a finger between the pages to go back).
Put it on a high platform (forgot the name of it but you know what it is) so that you don't shift it from right hand to left hand and bring it close to your thigh?

Life is short, so collect some good deeds so you can have a chance to go to heaven. Sinnerkiller... everyone is a sinner, so everyone should repent. Knowing that we are all sinners, we should be shy from Allah, who knows how sinful we are, and try our best to avoid sins. It's never too late to repent, ever.

@sinnerkiller But do you really avoid doing bad things? A lot of the the things people don't consider bad are in fact bad, and cause misery on this earth. A couple of easy examples are the objectification of women by allowing them to be displayed in lewd ways, and interest. The point is, Allah is The Creator, and He knows how we work better than we do, so when He says something is bad, it's bad whether we think it is or not, because we have a very limited scope of vision and He sees all.
@sinnerkiller. If you just don't believe in the first place, then it should not be an issue for you. If you don't believe in god, surely you don't believe in the other things like heaven/hell, good deeds heaven, bad deeds hell etc.etc. So the question of fairness is not important cos you don't believe in the first place. please don't give up, ask Allah to help you and then take baby steps close to him. Start praying the 5 daily prayers if you are not and read Qur'an and keep making du'a for help from Allah. Find good people whom you can benefit from and they can help you stay away from disobeying Him. Keep looking for videos from speakers who help increase your faith. Brother Nouman Ali Khan is a great speaker and he has tons of lectures on youtube...

@NDayatida He never mentioned anything about not havin freedom of speech. Discussion and scrutiny is allowed as long as we're no demeaning anyone or any sect. In Islam a lot of attention is paid to the feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood, which is why snickering, slandering and backbiting isn't allowed. Brother I like your speech but would it be possible for you to do the following:
When you talk, close the Quran (perhaps keep a finger between the pages to go back).
Put it on a high platform (forgot the name of it but you know what it is) so that you don't shift it from right hand to left hand and bring it close to your thigh?

@Kakashinoor i saw christians read bible in the bathroom, they read w/ their left hand holding it, throw it around as if its nothing more than a silly book. Certainly we don't want to do what they do (no I don't hate christianity, just the way ppl behave). That's why I told him that.

SubhanAllah he put light on new things that i never thought was a big deal and the intensity of couple of words and actions can effect a lot of people.
The sad thing is "gossiping, slandering, insulting, cracking jokes" seems to be norm...even i do these things but now i learned from my mistakes..

@sinnerkiller If He hated us he would not have given us the Prophet (saw) and the Qur'aan to guide is to the best place anyone can ever go, heaven. Life is short, so collect some good deeds so you can have a chance to go to heaven. Sinnerkiller... everyone is a sinner, so everyone should repent. Knowing that we are all sinners, we should be shy from Allah, who knows how sinful we are, and try our best to avoid sins. It's never too late to repent, ever.

I am not a bad person. I avoid doing bad things. But the only mistake I am making is not believing in allah. just because I dont believe he is gonna burn me in hell forever. doest it sound fair ? I didnt rape anyone. didnt steal. didnt curse didnt kill. I just dont believe.

@sinnerkiller But do you really avoid doing bad things? A lot of the the things people don't consider bad are in fact bad, and cause misery on this earth. A couple of easy examples are the objectification of women by allowing them to be displayed in lewd ways, and interest. The point is, Allah is The Creator, and He knows how we work better than we do, so when He says something is bad, it's bad whether we think it is or not, because we have a very limited scope of vision and He sees all.

@sinnerkiller. If you just don't believe in the first place, then it should not be an issue for you. If you don't believe in god, surely you don't believe in the other things like heaven/hell, good deeds heaven, bad deeds hell etc.etc. So the question of fairness is not important cos you don't believe in the first place. No need to get upset about the people who believe.

please don't give up, ask Allah to help you and then take baby steps close to him. Start praying the 5 daily prayers if you are not and read Qur'an and keep making du'a for help from Allah. Find good people whom you can benefit from and they can help you stay away from disobeying Him. Keep looking for videos from speakers who help increase your faith. Brother Nouman Ali Khan is a great speaker and he has tons of lectures on youtube...
