  • PREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM

  • put your rhymes on the altar, burn them as a sacrifice

  • Put ya rhymes on the alter, Burn them as a sacrifice. Man that s is just straight Sick.

  • Arguably the greatest hip hop producer of all time.

The leader of the rap/reggae movement and Source Award winner.

    Three absolute rap legends.

A rap duo that were shit hot at the time.

    Fat Joe.

    Something just doesn't add up.

Still, love this track. Thanks for the upload. ^^

  • fat Joe didn't become a clown until "lean back"... u ever heard "firewater'? "shit iz real" "bronx keeps creating it"???

  • YES!!!!!!!!!

  • The sound of hiphop how I miss it...........

  • Oh year. Check out ALPS CRU "Cant explain" for dope use of Mad Lions lyrics.

  • Fat joe is a fucing clown. Only thing that connects him to the true talented underground is DITC. Even there he was by far the weakest lyricist. Now hes just a pathetic sellout. Rest of these cats are legends ofc :)

  • how many takes before jeru caught that mic out the air smooth like that...? LOL

  • @shamarone hahaha I used to wonder that very same thing

  • 3 people are deaf

  • THE TRACK IS HOT,BUT I STILL THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT FAKE JOE OFF IT

  • Dj Premier for president....i would love to hear Krs One, Das Efx, Prodigy, Havoc, Biggie, Mista Vicksta, Mista Rippa, Redman, Jay Z, Eminem, Billy Danz, Lil Fame, Sean Price, Rock, Joel Ortiz, Royce da 59 n Fab on this beat. any body who thinks they can take on this beat then do it n throw it out there for fun n for the love. supa Classic track right here. 80's baby. peace

  • Golden age of Hip-Hop. What happened to music this good?

  • 2:38 Fat Joe timing fail

  • @UggghhhSon haha nah, his verse starts with motherfuckas ... it has been censored in the video

  • @UggghhhSon It's not a timing fail, he says "Motherfuckers know who's the best" but it's been censored for video version. You can't hear the first word, that's why it looks dumb.

  • i got this lp on tape. refreshing Hip Hop

  • WHAT BEAT ARE THEY SAMPLING AT 3:30?????

  • @kaaaaayx3 it's a DJ Premier remix of this track, different beat

  • @ColtonMP I love how he sample censored that. Preem went in when he made both those beats.

  • @kaaaaayx3 The remix version of this very same song produced by the one and only DJ Premier.

  • 0:13 Sadat X, Preem and Diamond D

0:16 Mr. Walt and his brother 0:22 Evil Dee ALL TRUE HEADS FOR SURE!!!!

  • Mad lion -.- BUT KRS <3

  • no DJ's better than premo

  • @lavabone I gotta disagree with you there. He's WITHOUT A DOUBT the best PRODUCER of all time in hip hop history, but Jazzy Jeff has the DJ title ON LOCK. He doesnt get the credit he deserves because of the whole "Fresh Prince" thing, but TRUST ME,I'm a DJ myself and there is NONE better. Check him out...and actually check hip out with Premo, and Kid Capri on the VHI Hip Hop Awards doing the tribute to Jam Master Jay

  • I LOVE PREMO ,please don't stop.

  • I DONT HAVE ANY WORDS FOR THIS...OH I DO CLASSIC RETARDED BANGER HARDBODY GOD DAMN

  • Look Cam'ron is doing reggae

  • @disgustika LOL

  • NY at the top of the game!!!!!!!!!!

  • Smif-N-Wessun, Jeru, and KRS-One

  • true hip hop

  • Jeru + Premo = greatness. Damn Jeru what the fuck happened?

(I also realize that Premo + any rapper almost automatically = greatness)

  • LYRICISM over COMMERCIALISM all day !!! & with premo on the track ..... whewwwwwww !!!!! this is the difference between RAPPERS & MC'S !!!!!!

  • LYRICISM over COMMERCIALISM all day !!!! & with primo on the track ..... whewwwwwww !!!!!

  • yo everyone went in on this but juru went insane

  • HipHop!!!!!!!!!!

  • Your career will be as short as my part in who's the man!

i wish i was older when hip hop wus like this : I

  • fat joe got that weakest verse....shit was weak son.

  • @510MyTube we know it he knows it but by the time the songs over we forget about it

  • Man, this is a classic!

  • JERU IS THE ILLEST ON THIS SHIZZ....

    he just fits this track....

  • @baythagod Speak brother speak!

  • Kris said my radars going BIBIT BIBIT BIBIT!

    great verse

but Jeru does what he does! DAMAJAS! He killed this track

rain on competition like razor sharp confetti!!!

  • 1:30 KRS takes it, Jeru comes pretty damn close though

  • every verse in this song kicks asses :)

  • I disagree, Fat Joe and Doug E Fresh didnt bring it nearly as hard as anyone else.

  • @scottforceone Doug E Fresh came up here whit real old-school flavor... Fat Joe more-less... but Doug's punchline is good... realy good

  • @FicaComptonCrip Dont get me wrong, Fresh is a God, but I dont think he or Joe put it down to the level that either is capable of. Its cold when you get shown up by Mad Lion.

  • Lyrical order for the song:

    1.(tie) KRS-1

    1. (tie) Jeru tha Damaja

    3. Smif-n-Wessun

    4. Fat Joe

    5.Mad Lion

    6. Doud E Fresh

  • KRS KRS KRS!!!!!! that verse SMACKS IT!

  • the aroma reaches up to my nostril, i get hostile! Classic,no one did it better!

  • Super scientifical madness

    ILL

  • Jeru shits on this song.

  • mad lion Does not fit sing hip-hop krs one the Best Rapper ever

And the rest ........... No Comment ):

  • this iz thee original version,, dats why....

  • DAMN!

Jeru's verses fits even better in this beat than the other version, which I heard first...

    sick beat no doubt!

  • I use to drop this Acapella over a remix instrumental of Never No More by Souls of Mischief.. made for a crazy mix.. Could only find that version on the twelve inch single though..

  • jeah jeah remember this!!!

  • I agree,,,why do I have to go to you tube to hear real rap? Or Hip-Hop for that matter. Id rather listen to Rock&Roll than most of what I hear today thats passing itself off as Rap!!!!!!

  • Thank GOD for youtube, and thank GOD that there's other folks that appreciate true hip hop like I do > without Youtube n all the real heads uploading these jewels on here, we'd never see/hear these classics again...

  • One of my favorite Beats of all time... one of the best collabs eva.. there was the symphony and there is this joint! !!! crazy!!!

  • Why is Camron singing Reggae at the beginning?

  • @disgustika are you retarded?

  • Camron? Erm.....u got betty davis eyes or sumin lmao?!

  • @disgustika O.o???????

  • Now this is the version i remember...Classic ishsss

  • this beat is just too much !!!!

  • KRS1 was born to teach. All Hip Hop Hall of Fame

Rappers in this song. I like the breaks Premier put in before the change of each Lyricist. So fukin DOPE. Prem is the #1 DJ of all time!

  • "The aroma reaches up to my nostril i get hostile, ur lyrics are stiff like David Copel." "Yes admit it when I'm way up in it, you can't hide, cause my radars goin Bipit Bipit Bipit.! Those two bars alone left me fuckin' speechless, back in '95 as a 13 yr old, huge reason why are started rhymin, KRS fuckin' killed it.

  • I totally agree couz, when I heard that verse I went NUTS. This is one of KRS's best verses (along with his second verse in that song "MAD IZM"). I could give these sorry ass new rappers from now until next year to write something better and they couldn't do it.

  • I went bannas when I heard Smif n Wessun's part up there because it was so unexpected at the time when I heard it. Smif n Wessun was kinda underground at the time so when I heard they verse on the radio I went bizerrk. Dah Shinin' iz still my favorite album.

  • The only thing fat Joe was good at was sayin "bring it on if you think you can hang, and if not let me do my thing."

Other than that he needs to sit his big ass down and leave Puns rhyme book alone.

  • It's so refreshing, tv and radio must diffuse more song like this to wash our brain, like Mr Clean

  • I like when Smiff N Wessun got on there, and you know KRS is my favorite right? Smiff N Wessun gave me that roughness on this track. Good work boys. That's what I'm talking about.

  • Man, this shit iz getting on my nerves. Why do I have to log on to YouTube to hear a good caliber of Hip Hop music. Why can't music like this still exist today? I mean, what is it? Do these labels get into the ears of these young artists and dictate to them how they should be and what to rap about? The only artist from today's era that I would vibe to is Corey Gunz. Drake isn't bad either but I miss an artist having an edge. And rhyming about drugs & gangs does not convince me how rough u are.

  • TEK & STEELE indamuhfuggin house!

  • Your career will be short as my part in "whos da man"

  • Peace to my peoples in the 'Ville and my heads in the Stuy...BK all day

  • KRS 1 RIP IT HE HAD THE BEST PART

  • oh man, big props for uloading this shit, one of the best combos ever!

  • classic joint, forgot about this one!!

  • this was back when fat joe was good.

the only one thats still holdin it right now is the teacher.

  • What are you talking about, Fat Joe had the worst verse on the whole song.

  • hahahaha! Back in the day we used to say how did he make the cut with D.I.T.C.??? Jealous Ones Envy is where it begins and ends with him for me. Big Pun was his saving grace for real!

  • god, mad lion sounds like such a retard he ruins the song

  • Totally

  • 0:16 Beatminer Mr.Walt & 0:22 his brother Evil Dee feelin it also!

  • this is the days of mix tapes... i mean cassettes tapes literally! straight east coast ...when east coast still had a sound--

  • KRS IS THA G.O.A.T HANDS DOWN!!

  • 0:14 Sadat X, Preem and Diamond D feelin it!!!!!

  • i luv all them 3

  • I remember this just like it was yesterday. I miss good hip hop.

  • 1995 I think. Maaaan this is when hip hop was on some shit. banging beats, ill calabos, real mc's and lyricists,

I used to have this on cassette.... played it like crazy. Yo I swear Im getting a boom box and Imma surprise everybody in NYC by just walking around playing joints like this. watch me.

  • smif n wessun!!!!$^%$^%$

  • dog E fresh,krs-one,jeru..90's RAP!!!

  • "...rain on competition like razor sharp confetti..."

    Can u say sick?!?!

  • Mad lion!!!

  • premier is a god

  • rap at it´s best !

  • damn! that's real old school shit! flooo!

one truth - ALL STARS! peace

  • no im not jamaican, yes imma rasta

  • this is also 2the lame ball weenie. from the looks of weenie station zero. u piss enough people off. why dont u let people who know about true hip-hop discuss thier views stay in lame-ball land how dya like my punctuation?

  • a, lame-dini i wont even type a response 2u , your screen name says it all,chump.

  • We need to get back to those old school beats, i'm sick of these vocoder rappers, this is da shit, so sweet

  • fat joe mic drop fail at 2:42

  • it didn't fail.. it was blacked out. He said WTF.

  • He says " Mothafuckas! " actually

  • if you r were a true wutang or hip hop fan you would curse the day uspoke those words .wu-tang was never worried about the flash and mega xtravagant garabe of the late puffy, cash money era to the circus music that passes for hip hop these days. wutang short one gneral they r . still has 2be the ultimate hip hop we talking about 'em right

  • If you were a hip hop fan then you would be respectful enough to type a intelligible sentence.

  • Hottest shit. Play this with all the heads, chilling with an L and a 40. Damn I wanna just kick it with these dudes... smif n wes/jeru especially!

  • this that shit that makes you just wanna cruise it in your whip hotboxin it and gettin lost in the music

  • Classic Premo track

  • You read Primo's name...you never know what you're gonna get...

    TIGHT!

  • CLASSIC! HIP HOP WHEN IT WAS HIP HOP.

  • i love the smif n wessun back and forth on this shit

  • Please stop compressing the audio tracks of videos, it sounds awful.

  • its youtube. not the uploader who's compressing the audio. the vid is compressed also.

  • this version is definately better its more hip hop and got souul to it its like a big party

  • You new school fagget rappers need to watch this vid and take note.

  • hands down... this is beat premier ever made

  • I've been a die hard Preemo fan for years going back to their first album, it's hard to rate his work because he has done so many incredible tracks but I have to agree with you on this one. When I first heard this track back in 95, I was speechless, that beat is utterly brilliant, the way that piano meshes with that upright bass on key, it literally drugs you even with out the drum beat!!!

  • Got to chime in. When I heard this beat I remember telling my boy "Some beats have an 'intellegence'" He immediatly started hummin this and I was like "Yeah thats the one!"

Premo reached somewhere profound with this one......

  • the state of hiphop is so bad right now that u NEVER see a group of mcs coming
