induction grow lamps prodcuie the highest lumens per watt, use 70% less power then HID while still getting an average of 30" canopy penetration in 95% PAR usable ranges. I switched to the 400 watt indagro series and I'm on my 3rd grow with solid yields. They do what LED's claimed to do without all the moving parts bro. youtube; inda-gro
Impossible. LED's may veg plants ok, but those plants were not grown exclusively under the LED. The light of an LED, even one as strong as a 300w doesn't penetrate more than a few inches inches and those plants had decent colas a lot farther down the plant then that. LED grow lights are a hoax, don't bother.
@seanclimb its ok to want some but you cant afford them, you are right in the sense that they are not good for the whole time, iv seen 40 - 60% higher yields with just a set of cheap 100$ leds.
@bryonyrocks Yeah I bought one of those 90w (supposed to be 400w HPS equivalent) dual spectrum LED's. I had been using an actual 400w HPS and thought that I may be able to achieve the same results with the LED. That was not the case and I quickly switched back to HPS. In my opinion, no matter how many plants you are growing, big or small, invest in a 1000W HPS. It doesn't impact your electrical bill enough to matter that much and puts out enough light that you're guaranteed to have good results
