  • the Commanche and the BattleHawk (modified BlackHawk) use both a french Nexter (ex:GIAT) gun

  • @sertox12345 you have NASA cuz of the nazi germany XD So many stuff came from them! THINK ABOUT IT!

  • The apache is a Ground support, Attack (light & heavy) recon and of course death machine. an aircraft thats almost 40 still does better than the new stuff. same with the cobra.

  • the apache couldnt copy that maneuverability of that thing i thing

  • oh that thing look so scary if im a bad guy lol

  • great helikopter

MG).

  • @yakonan1995: Deswegen ist der Apache auch 1975 geflogen, 16 Jahre vor dem Tiger. Depp.

  • It's not an attack, but a support helicopter.

  • the german version sucks. its better against tanks, because of its optics on the rotor.

but ther german version has no machine-cannon... thats makes him useless in afghanistan....

  • the only way to know for sure is put them in a fight ..

  • they all copy what the usa has lol

  • @sertox12345 they copy what the usa has? your candy ass dude .

  • @sertox12345

Normally the USA copies from other countries...think about what happend to the german combat-technologies after war....give a shit on Stealth-Technologie...its all copied from germany!!!

  • @Spezies666 Is that bad? no. The US makes amazing equipment becauise they use the best blueprints and develop from that.

  • That kinda looks like the Apache, especially with the censor ball on top and the design...

  • @Stormchaserda18th nope, its totally different.

The apache is a bit bigger and has more weight, this "sensor ball" is a Mastvisier...something like a camera for the pilot which moves synchron with the head of the pilot...

  • @Denniboy26 Yeah, sensor ball is their nickname

  • @Stormchaserda18th nope...

  • @Stormchaserda18th Funny you realised it. The optronic from the Apache was designed by a German company.

  • Weapons Made In Germany - The Best

  • ein scheiss teil, ohne MK völlig nutzlos heutzutage !

  • Eurocopter is franco-german-spanish company subsidiary of EADS

  • The Spanish version is the best, Tigre HAD-E, with the most powerful engines, most armored, with the best electronic, the most expensive.

Tigre HAD-E, the only version capable of launching missiles Spike-ER. The Eurocopter is built and tested in Albacete (Spain).

France to the see the good performance decided to cancel the order for 40 HAP by 40 HAD version originally to Spain.

Tigre HAD: 44-48 mio US $

Tigre UHT: 38-43 mio US $

Tigre ARH: 36 mio US $

Tigre HAP: 35-39 mio US $

  • @SAACAAS now my spanish friend I tell how this Heli is financed! The Tiger is financed by taxes of EU citizen. Your Country and other countrys receiving money from the EU to buy this Helicopter. This Money is taxpayers money.

  • @ad220588 OK, but no exactly, all EU countries don´t desing and build for EADS. EADS is a private corporation. Australia bought helicopter tiger and don´t participate in the project...and their money "financed" the project too. European countries who put their money in a project have priority, have privileges, and also more benefit, and of course that they contributed with more money than other countries too. Europe don´t work with taxes. Europe is not a country yet.

  • @DownloadProX German?? hahaha is a USA troll. Your Apache is a heavy Tigershit.

  • @SAACAAS Whats wrong with Apache? Why you got to rag on quality equipment if its not made from your country?

  • @OlderG0ds Apache is old and heavy."Tigre" is the last generation of attack helicopter. Agility, powerfull (HAD version with new engine), very armored (HAD version with new specifications) and well equiped, the spanish version "HAD-E" is the best and more expensive version 48 mio, is AIR TO GROUND version. HAD-E is only version that is equiped with missile SPIKE (IR). EUROCOPTER is a subsidiary of EADS, and EADS-CASA, ITP (engine), INDRA, etc are Spaniards. Tiger is built and Tested in Albacete.

  • @SAACAAS well you have not yet seen the usa new chooper sorry not for all to see

  • @sertox12345 Ok, i want see it!! I love machines!!

  • The HAD version initially was only for Spanish Army (initially design and built with the express requirements for the Spanish army) . But French Army seeing good performance of HAD version, and french canceled their previous order of 80 HAP "Support and Escort Helicopter" and ordered 50% in HAD version "Support and Attack Helicopter". See in Wikipedia /wiki/Eurocopter_Tiger

Airbus A400M is built in Spain (Seville), the right wing (Getafe) and the TVN of Eurofighter (design and built for ITP)etc.

  • @SAACAAS It maybe heavy but it stands to its name as the worlds best attack helicopter that so happens to be combat proven.

  • looks like a mix between the AH64 apache and the MI-24 hind

  • nice. we realy need this shit in libya to beat some Gadafi's ass. i hear that france sent 12 of this helicopter .

  • This is an alternative to the Apache. Not bad.

  • made in germany= the best products in the world

  • if an Apache and a Commanche made love, this would be their child

  • @BeatTheSystemR1 bestimmt nicht,da ist der franzose doch sehr viel näher dran

  • @BeatTheSystemR1 lol wtf dude?

  • german technology was always great compared to the us who also has very stunning technologies but its sad that germany is no longer a great power like it used to be

  • @supremejen019 it actually is, especially economically :)

  • @supremejen019 i mean germans never tried to grow bigger like they were in the hitler era yes they r a gr8 economy and they have gr8 technologies which i respect interms of competting with the usa but i also hate these countries for supporting israel who only knows to kill innocent ppl

  • The basic frame of the Apache was designed in the late 1970s and the basic concept holds up well. The Cobra has even an older airframe. The latest designs in the Cobra and Apache still hold their own to even the latest designs of other helicopters. I think the best PR for alternative attack helicopters is the gun camera of the same quality found in the Apache and Cobra. All I'm finding is poor video of other choppers hitting practice targets.

  • If you wanna see a comparison between Tiger and Apache:

    /watch?v=NUULDXix3yE

This documentation is german, but the Tiger pwns Apache nearly in every disciplin!

  • Yes the Apache is much heavier than the Tiger and the Cobra but they all fulfill the same role for their effective arms. The US Armys Apache is designed for full on war with the Soviets which means its heavier, the Bundeswehr kept in tradition of fast light gunships like the PAH-1 for anti armor duties. The Super Cobra is the Marines tried and true ship just like Italy has the A129 and South Africa has the Rooivalk

  • @DonCarlito2007 Very true. It kind of annoys me when people get into a pissing match about things like this. Technically all can do the same stuff, and they're remarkable at what they do. At the end of the day, to me, that's all that really counts. "Can they do what they're intended to do, and do it well?" Their strengths and weaknesses are in different areas, but as long as they're mission capable what's the big deal?

It's like the AR vs AK debate that rears it's ugly head at every opportunity

  • Thats all fine and dandy that the Europeans produced a gunship thats good at doing acrobatic maneuvers but how much is being able to roll a helicopter in flight going to do in a battlefield environment? It's all well for an airshow where you're entertaining spectatorsbut how does it hold up in a direct fight that's what gets an aircraft it's stamp of approval

  • That's like jet with a mix with a chopper

  • Very nice vid, but wrong music..."it´s the eye of the tiger" ;-)

  • So... nice heli... but i like russian MI-28 N Night Hunter and Mi-24

  • Australia made the right decision in buying these.

  • @tman78au Australia should have gone with the Apache, Australia retired its Bushranger Huey gunships and so far they only have a handful of the Tigers and none of them are in operational status to support the troops in Afghanistan. Australia also got cheated out of maintenance and technical support hence why it's counterparts in Great Britain decided to build the Apaches under license and skip going with the EC-665

  • @Krittmaster Helicopters of no type in combat fly high .... often enough theres not much more than 20-30 meters to the ground, can become scary at times, but thats what this one is made for.... go in low, blast the f*** out of the target and come back home.... and the EADS Tiger is perfekt for the job

  • @DerMarcie, you have a point, but what about avoiding ground attack for longer range missions?

  • This is by far one of the best helicopters worldwide... why??? because it integrates german Helicopter tech (you remember the BO 105 first Helicopter capable of flying a looping) with modern needs .... against this small little son of a bitch... an apache seems like a grandma moving in a mall :D

  • @DerMarcie The Apache isn't meant for zipping and dodging around. It carries a lot more weapons than the Tiger, but isn't as maneuverable. The Apache is meant to be used in conjunction with a spotting helicopter, who actually aims the weapons while the Apache fires them. The Tiger is stand-alone but has the same capability.

The Tiger is on par with the AH-1Z Super Cobra. Both are light and fast and do the same sort of work. The Apache is very different in combat than either of them.

  • @Kriegsarschmann The Apache now eliminated the need for a spotting helicopter with the Block III grade Longbow Apaches. In a company sized unit four aircraft carrying the Longbow radar now send data not only for themselves but for the rest of the combat unit therefore allowing a lot more target acquisition and destruction of enemy forces quicker

  • @DonCarlito2007 Still, the Apache is more heavy hitting than the lighter Tiger and Super Cobra. It probably can still be used with a dedicated spotting helicopter. The Apache is just a bigger, meaner machine but won't really win any agility competitions (not to say it isn't agile) against the smaller helicopters. My point was it's mission role is entirely different than the other helicopters it's compared to, especially this one.

  • This thing still looks huge on radar ... I'm sorry!

  • @krittmasta

So does every chopper US or Russia has ever made.

    Im sorry!

  • @krittmasta Why would a "helicopter" fly high-enough in wartime to be seen on radar ... ?

  • @l3attlel2oyal, well .. when you start getting into certain range, it will still show up on radar. stealth is not 100% stealth ... Another thing is, attack helicopter is already reaching its limit unless it goes stealth

  • der is viel besser als der apache weil der nicht heiß wird also können den keine stinger raketen treffen

  • well the comanche is better, and the hellfires are better than trigat and HOT, but all in all Tigre wins: its simply about defensive systems like armor and missile/laser/radar warner, avionics, agility (very important for gunfight!), stealth in IR and radar spectre

    means survivability.

its also more versatile, see it has stinger/mistral, perhaps it gets future german

LFK-NG, the principal MANTIS/Sysfla missile with IRIS-T seeker, against jets and armored helis/tanks with 10km range

    it owns

  • comanche is cancelled cause the US airforce said it sucks

  • @turkaskeri0 The Comanche was canceled because of operating costs, its the most advanced battlefield helicopter ever invented. It has nothing to do with the aircraft 'sucking' because hell lets face it a single Comanche could shoot down 12 Tigers before it's even been identified as being there. The Air Force had nothing to do with the Comanche, the Army canceled the program because more aircraft of current types were needed for current operations

  • the best ! franco german tiger ! yeahh boum taliban ; ))

  • @chrisfrenchriviera and Spanish TOO

  • @chrisfrenchriviera Franco german spanish tiger!

  • @TheK4mper Not spanish sorry !!! Spain bought it but thats all.

  • @m3gtr35 No, sorry! Eurocopter is a french-german-spanish company.

EADS= Aerospatiale (french), DASA (german) and CASA (spanish).

For example, we make together the eurofighter typhoon, and yes, the tiger. And we are making the spanish version of the tiger HAP, the ``tigre´´ HAD in Albacete (Spain). ;)

  • @TheK4mper No the tiger is made by french and german only !!! Spain have a special version of the tiger build in spain but not conceived and designed by spain. And for your information the typhoon isn't conceived by the french. French has no typhoon but france have the RAFALE. ;-)

  • @TheK4mper NO sorry! Eurocopter is only French German, EADS is French German and Spanish coz of CASA, Spanish only take part in CASA shit. And Eurocopter is FR-DE because it has to be 50/50 for political reasons, but most of the technology was French : Most of the EC product were made by Aerospatial. Only the Tiger and NH90 and one or two small civilian helicopter was made by EC and today most of the engineering in EC is made in France

  • its armored up to 23mm shilka bullets and much stealthier, in IR and radar signature. and its much more maneuvrable

  • nope actually it isnt

  • @MasonicTruth Lack of combat doesn't prove lack of combat "capability" ... the fact that the Apache has seen combat and the Tiger hasn't, by itself, means next to nothing. If it did, then the F-4 would be far superior to the F-22 ... (lol)

  • @l3attlel2oyal u clearly along with most people who compare these helos don't have a clue what ur talking about.

  • @l3attlel2oyal your comparing two very different fighters makes no sense. am F-22 is a stealth multirole fighter its faster better an invisible. Actually in helicopters being combat proven can mean life or death to the crew. we already know the apache is an older machine but its an old war dog and you cant mess with an old dog. The apache maybe slower and heavier and that means more armor and better precision. its a heavy attack chopper for a reason.

  • @BoredomKills25

F22 is NO Multirole fighter. It is a air superiority fighter. And it is not invisible, it just has a low Radarsignature. If you say "you can't mess with an old dog" does that also mean the F-22 shouldn't mess with the F-4? Becuase the F-4 is a lot more proven then the F-22.

  • Excelent helicopter!!!!
