Try these chords from thickest to thinnest string (E:x A:0 D:6 G:6 b:5 e:4) and (E:x A:4 D:6 G:6 b:0 e:0) strumming is just down-up with three up stokes b4 chord change. "x" just means I don't think the string is played.

Then the chorus is (E:x A:7 D:9 G:11), (E:x A:11 D:13 G:13), and (E:x A:4 D:6 G:6) strumming down, down, up-down-up.
