I remember this day... Almost as clear as yesterday. O_O My family had just moved into a new house and the house was being finished then. My mom, my sister and I were in the masters bedroom. Mom was reading a fairytale book to us when this happened. I was just 3 then and my sister was almost a year old. Nothing bad happened and I never cried, but the memory of that day is alway fresh in me.

five y/o lang ako non pero di ko makaklimutan yan dahil hanggang ngayun may trauma pa ren ako sa lindol, kauuwi lang ng father ko sa bhay, nanuod sya ng movie ang title "ibabaon kita sa ilalim ng lupa". (if im not mistaken) Dahil pagod sya naktulog sya, habang lumilindol tumakbo ko sa labas ng bahay kasi kala ng tatay ko maingay lang ako, and my mother was 8 months pregnant then, nag crack talga yung lupa but thank God wlang ngyring msama samen. Birthday pa pla ni tita ko yun. sna di na maulit.

Earthquake is a natural phenomenon occurs inside the earth. If you experienced it without getting harmed you're lucky for it only comes in your life ONCE or THRICE. I already experienced it for the first time last year when I was at the mall somewhere at Recto, and I can never forget it, that was the luckiest part of my life.

She was still studying dentistry in UE, my kuya's with his nannies sa parking area.. the earthquake struck while they were playing in the parking lot.

mom said UE didn't even bother teaching their students safety precautions during their time.

she ran down the stairs, pag dating nya sa parking lot (panting) parang wala lang daw, apparently they didn't notice the earthquake since they were to busy chasing kuya. aftershocks lang.

Ah yes, this is one of the memorable footages ng July 16 earthquake. Isa pang memorable na footage is yung grade 6 na na-trap yung kalahati ng katawan niya sa CCP sa Cabanatuan. Namatay din eventually dahil sa tagal ng rescue.
