  • im 20 now and its amazing im old than raw itself

  • 2009_2011 would be the cocky sexy age.

  • @TheBenwardy because WWE no longer has competition in ratings, back then they competed with WCW, so they went to the extreme and brought Attitude into the show

  • how has wwe gone from the attitude era to this PG era

  • @MrDBZ920 atitud era ended when wwf became wwe sorry but its true

  • @yohb7 Attitude Era ended after Wrestlemania 17.

  • @kefkasakura IM SICK OF THIS ARGUMENT WITH PEOPLE WHO CLEARLY WANTED THE ATITUDE ERA TO ENDAFTER WRESTLMANIA FUCKIN 17 JUST BECAUSE IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE BEST EVENT OF THE ATITUDE ERA DOESENT MEAN IT ENDED IT ON WWE . COM IT SHOWS HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ATITUDE ERA INCLUDING WRESTLAMANIA 18 IN 2002 BECAUSE THAT WA ONE OF THE LAST DAYS OF THE ATITUDE ERA IT WASNT ALL MCMAHON VS AUSTIN THE T SHIRTS DIDNT SAY RUTHLESS AGRESSION THEY SAID WWF ATITUDE BECAUSE IT WAS STIL THE ATITUDE ERA END OF

  • @yohb7 Stop caps locking. The Austin vs McMahon feud ended with the match between Austin and The Rock at Wrestlemania 17, and because the era started with this, the era ends with this.

  • @kefkasakura look i dont wanna get mad but it wasnt a diffrent era it was a new phase for the atitude era it was just changing the atitude era tonning it down a little the rock vs hogan was the highlight of the atitude era for me

  • @yohb7 Actually, I agree. To me, the Attitude era officially ended in early 2002 and I have reasons to back it up.

  • @IR305 i was still the atitude era when the rock fought hogan for me it ended when wwf became wwe

  • @kefkasakura Nope. It ended in early 2002. look it up on wwe.com if you don't believe me.

  • why couldn't my mother have me in 1990 nstead of 1996, i missed a fuckload of action!:(

  • @WordsYetUnspoken LMAO ^

  • @WordsYetUnspoken Same as you, but I download the episodes on Pro Wrestling Torrents.

  • @WordsYetUnspoken i was born in 1998 :(

  • @KINGOFKINGSHD3D

Fuck, making me feel old already.

    Here I am from 1993.

  • 2008 2009 was okay

  • 0:47 and 0:55 doesn't

  • 0:12, 0:21, 0:27 and 0:32 where the songs that actually feels like you're watching a wrestling show

  • For Logical Fans only: Capitol Wrestling Era (1953-1963) WWWF Era (1963-1979) Golden Age Era (1979-1983) Rock N Wrestling Era (1984-1992) New Generation Era (1993-1996) Attitude Era (1997-2001) Ruthless Aggression Era (2002-2006) Universe Era (2008-2011) Reality Era (2011-????)
  • @AJ36sXe

so what happened to 2007? did that not have any era?

  • @hithereal basicly the ruthless aggression era but died when Benoit Died

  • @hithereal A transitional period from Ruthless Aggression to Universe. Just like the Invasion and nWo's debut was all part of the transition from Attitude to Ruthless Aggression

  • For Logical Fans only: Capitol Wrestling Era (1953-1963) WWWF Era (1963-1979) Golden Age Era (1979-1983) Rock N Wrestling Era (1984-1992) New Generation Era (1993-1996) Attitude Era (1997-2001) Ruthless Aggression Era (2002-2006) Universe Era (2008-2011) Reality Era (2011-????)
  • 33 seconds to 47 seconds. The only thing worth caring about.

  • Golden Age 1985-1992; Classic

    New Generation 1992-1997; Great

    Attitude Era 1997-2001; Epic

    Ruthless Aggression 2002-2007; Good

    PG Era 2008-2011; Somewhat Decent

Punk Era 2011-The Future; So Far, Very Good

  • you tell by looking at this opening that everyone in the WWE miss the old days because the Atitude era opening got the longest play time and Vince always says WWF instead of WWE when he's talking about the company. Too bad Politics and Mother's Group's had to bitch about T.V. content and fuck every thing up.

  • 0:48 - 0:54 best times

  • 1997-2004 put wrestling on the map once again

  • @otoniel2424 No. 1997-2001 put wrestling on the map. WCW was still around back then and both shows help develop a world wide recognition of wrestling. 2003 and 2004 did not help at all.

  • @thedocumentarian Yeah your right, however thats when careers of wrestlers started to whine down like the rock stone cold and the hulkster plus wrestlemania XX was awesome it gave eddie and chris a HUGE push and that was the rocks last match for 7 years now thats why i like to say that 2004 was awesome in wrestling and it put it on the map however since then it has been SHIT CITY!

  • @thedocumentarian Whoa! 1997-2001 put wrestling on the map? Do you not know your wrestling history?

  • @AJ36sXe Umm. Of course I do. I went to WCW and WWF live shows. I've read books about the Monday Night Wars and I read their budgets, buy rates, and their rating information. 1997-2001 put wrestling on the map. If you think otherwise. Sorry if you like the WWE now but you missed out on a lot when I was a kid.

  • @thedocumentarian Yeah, I was a kid back during the Attitude Era as well, but informed myself about a lot, so I wouldn't be bitter and butthurt about it ending. Wrestling started to regain popularity again in 1996, following a low period of the early and mid 90s. Wrestling was already huge, but because of steriod trials sexual harrasment, etc, its popularity declined. So, maybe your statment should've been, "Wrestling was put back on the map in 1996." It was already huge in the past.

  • The further I got into the video, the more goosebumps I got our of nostalgia.

  • 0:00 - 0:55 = Best times

  • i saw more action in the 15 second attitude era intro than in the entire pg era!

  • WWF Raw Is War!

    Attitude Era 4 life!

  • i dont count that part being pg becuz candace go daddy michelle was there and that was enough to get me a boner, i dont get boners while watching women now

  • long live world wrestling federation fuck WWE.

  • wrestling is dead

  • Wow it really got super lame in the last 15 seconds

  • Shit I miss the attitude era so much </3

  • the start of the PG era wasn't all that bad. If people claim that it started in 2006, Wrestlmania 23 was in the ruthless aggression era. when it started in summer of '07 right after Chris Benoit died after Wrestlemania 23. If Chris Benoit didn't commit double murder suicide, we would still be in the ruthless aggression era and that's a fact, Vince never wanted the P.G Era, nor did Linda. so for those people who say it is politics, is somewhat true, But if Benoit was here PG wouldn't exsist

  • @M4xw3ll19 Exactly. Plus PG can be amazing too since during 1998 or 1999. It was actually PG, but no one ever thinks of that. Also We know PG can be good just watch CM Punk's promo from RAW.

  • I liked the first 54 seconds... hated the last 11 seconds

  • the last song sucks best song is 0:32 - 0:47 and 0:48 - 0:53 was awesome to

  • If you dont like the pg era dont watch and stop making a big deal about it people...

  • What the hell is Vince thinking!?! Man wrestling has gone down the shit hole in recent years. Even the news outlets have said that in recent years WWE has lost viewers and they are coming up with all kinds of stupid kid related shit in hopes of getting their ratings up. Truth is those damn ratings won't ever be as high as they where in the attitude era.

  • "Move to the Music" and what Music that is to my ears.

  • 0:54 Mr. Anderson!....Aaaaaandeeeersooon

    :)

  • WWE died in 2003, Survivor Series 2003 NOT a MINUTE after

  • Ruthless aggression era...AKA the "lets dump all our popular wrestlers and get this downward spiral towards the boring shit ROLLING" era.

  • you can see just by the music getting worse and worse that the product is awful.

  • 2008-2011 has been real bad

    PG sucks

  • the last song of this video wasnt PG. WWE started the PG thing like last year.

  • @hussein335 actually wwe decided to go pg in 2008 officially right after the suicide of chris benoit in order to reclaim their image and made it a family show.

  • 2006-2008 werent so bad, 2009- were and are the dead era's

  • R.I.P RAW 1993-2008 :(

  • Never noticed how the intro represented the intensity of that era

  • the starting of the pg era was bad cause they changed it to pg but the wwe is going downhill most of all cause they dont have anyone good anymore, its like the rock said on his latest return to wwe, it went from the rock and stone cold to... you cant see me.. :( thats what ruined the wwe right there

  • @itsfaith77 DAMN dude the entire attitude era had a classic roster , now everything is shit

  • @91exile yep and now wrestlemania is gone the undertaker and triple H are more than likely going to retire more or less undertaker is

  • I miss attitude it was very hardcore

  • I miss the hardcore day. It wasn't until October 2006 to present then it got shiter. Goddamn kids.

  • From New Generation to Ruthless Aggression, were the best eras hands down. Hopefully PG ends asap since the Rock is back. (Wishful thinking)

  • THE New Generation Era IS A MAN SHOW LITTLE BIT OF Attitude Era BUT AFTER THAT A GAY SHOW

  • they made stone cold look badass walking in between the fire. they should do that for one of the raw superstars thiz days...

  • no no no PG era started in 2008

  • @nutty4real no in mid 2009

  • Video turned to shit at 0:54...

  • @CoreyCage no sir, the video turned to shit at :47 :(

  • i wont lie but 2008 - 2010 is actually pretty good...but when i mean good i meant funny...

  • I stopped watching after the Attitude era. If they bring back, they'll get back this viewer.

  • wait one second here are the era's of pro wrestling

    tv era-1950's-1980's

    hulkamania era- 1980s

first pg era- 1993 until 1998

the attitude era- wrestlemania 14 1998 until wrestlemania 17 2001

    after the war/invasion era 2001 until 2002

the Reconstruction era- 2002 until 2008

    second pg era 2008-present

  • @wrestlingbrian123 I started watching pro wrestling in 2000.. I think it was great in attitude era but it was still good till 2008 but it has taken a great fall since 2008. But still there are some good matches like Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker and the feud between HHH and Shaemus

  • Dang Owen Hart is in this

  • @MrDBZ920 agreed but anything after 2005 was pretty much bullshit, i could see it then.

  • @Truexel actually the best was before 2004 was it was still okay until 2008(pG ERA)!!

  • PG Era: Early 1980's (Good)

Golden Age Era: Late 80's-Early 90's (Gettin Better)

New Generation Era: Mid 90's (Almost there!)

ATTITUDE ERA!: Late 90's-Early 00's [98-02] (Hell Yeah!)

RUTHLESS AGGRESSION ERA!: Early 00's- Late 00's [02-Early 08](Hell Yeah!)

New PG Era: Mid 08-Now [08-TBA] (NOOOOOo!!!)

RUTHLESS ATTITUDE AGGRESSION ERA!: Comin Soon Hopefully! [2011-FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!] (CANT WAIT!)

  • @TheCharlesJackson Raw from 2003-2008 was NOOOOOOOOOOO too.

  • @TheCharlesJackson, dude your wish has been granted. Man you can predict the future.

  • lawl i miss when raw n smackdowns intros was just people beating people up with some angry mosh song playing

  • @WSXnTNA4Life that is somewhat accurate. The Early Brand Extension days was awesome...you had the great wrestling of SmackDown and the "Attitude" feel of Raw....great programming. SmackDown has hit and misses now....and Raw...is fuckin atrocious most of the time

  • @WSXnTNA4Life so you are basically dismissing the Golden Age of Wrestling which was basically mid 80's to early 90's? i know most of us watching this wasn't alive or old enough then.

and we know the Post Hogan Era wasn't that good...in fact, it was kinda as bad as this one.

  • Can you imagine the 20th Anniversary of Raw and what shitty theme we can have for that?

  • @BrickCity4eva Just Bieber baby

  • HEY HEY they can't show the 2nd attitude era intro because there was blood and a weapon shot to the head! HEY... more action in the intro then u get on WWE.

  • You Can Tell How Worse It Got Over Time After Each Intro Passed

  • notice how the attitude era has more wrestling action than the p3 intros

  • if everyone can understand

in the early 90's the wwf went though the same stage when kids were watching. then when WCW was on the top of the raring for a long time they changed up the "attitude".

  • @jet4212006 Well ur right but still ya gotta admit dere was still chairs and otha weapons and blood then too. But now...NO BLOOD!!!! Unless its an accident.

  • @TheCharlesJackson or on PPV

  • @DarkSaber22 Even on PPV no blood. Like I said only by accident. Undertaker in the 2009 Royal Rumble was busted open literally with a cut on his skull meanin it was an accident. John Cena was busted open at Bragging Rights 2009 by accident after the edge of the WWE box on da mike put a gash in his 4head. Only mistakes.

  • Stupid asshole the last intro wasnt PG

  • The only people that "ruined" are you sorry little fuckers who are stuck in the 90's

  • @DXCenaWWE4life Well i agree. But also afta da 90's dere was the early 00's which was also attitude. Den afta da name change, dere was the ruthless aggression era. So technically we're not stuck in da 90's. Hell, I was born in da 90's 1 year b4 da attitude era but im here in 2010 and want some attide and ruthless aggression back!

  • @TheCharlesJackson Ok I barley understood half of what you said and please learn how to spell some (no offense). Yes the Atttitude Era was great but its over so get over it.

  • @DXCenaWWE4life Yeah. Ijust use type like that. Only because this is the internet. Srry man. And I am over it but we need some attitude and agressiveness back!

  • attituted era was the best... ruthless aggression era was good... but now shit... sometime i try to watch raw or smack down and i can't... those new wrestler don't know how to make shows like old wrestlers... u can tell they're trying but they sucks and boring.. and the divas are hot but stupids.. nah ill stay with my wwf divas like torry, the kat, and my love Stacy keibler

  • 2006 raw can burn in hell with there fucking cenation

  • @10litai

Back in '06 Cena's fans were still called the Chain-gang. That's slightly LESS faggoty than "Cenation".

  • @10litai John Cena is a good supertar. WWE "tried" to make hom "betta" by makin him the Hustle Loyalty and Respect kind of superstar. Im still a Cena fan but I still prefer the thuganomics Cena.

  • them stupid little fucks are ruining all the good stuff lately

  • Man time pass by so quick. Seem just like yesterday Undertaker announced his Ministry of Darkness.

  • WWE was actually good for the first like 3 years. It's real downfall started when Cena had that year long title reign. Now it's utter shit. Nexus is horrible and boring too

  • the only thing good about the pg era the divas

  • end of attitude era is my favorite intro . also ppl have to stop bitching about WWE PG hey i loved the aggressive , bloody , crude , sexy RAW of before but thanks to Linda Mcmahon ( and NOT John Cena who everyone prefers blaming ) we have PG WWE but WWE has been PG before and no one had a problem with it besides next year tv 14 will be back when Linda loses the election

  • i like the attitude era best and also ruthless aggression

  • yea pg era =(

  • attitude era FTW!!!!

  • i missed the passed wwf

  • wwe universe thums up if you want see blood again!!!:D

  • But WWE disables comments to show that they don't want to see bitching on their page.

  • @ssjcmc82 THAT IS 100% true WWE wasn't the trash talking page anymore cause of the PG Era Plus it could get Voilent So.......

  • They left out Marilyn Manson Beautiful People.

  • @alexbshlong That was SmackDown, not Raw.

  • @LegendKiller648 Debuted February 13,1997

  • i was watching the opening and when the move to the music start playing i was like yessss but then it turned to that little uh ohhhh crap and i was like gay

  • 93~96: New Generation Era

    97~01: Attitude Era

    02~05: Ruthless Aggression Era

    06~Now: Shit-tier Era

  • @ToruKun1 02 - 07 The Ruthless Aggression era

    08 - now Shittier Era

  • @sfaj146

    Yeah, you're right.

'02~Early to Mid-'07: Ruthless Aggression Era

Mid to Late-'07~Now: Post Benoit PG Era

    ....which is shit.

  • @ToruKun1 the Shit-tier era definitely started in late 07 or early 08ish

  • @ToruKun1 the "ruhless aggression Era" ?? ? more like the Erick Bischoff era!

  • @ToruKun1 Shit (Universe) Era Started early 2008, raw was okay in 06 cause of dx and the edge and cena rivalry. 07 was saved by the batista/edge/taker and orton/cena rivalry. 2008 is when it all died

  • @ToruKun1 attitude era and ruthless aggression era were my favourite, and i think smackdown had it's best period in the ruthless aggression era

  • @frenchyManUTD1989

Yeah probably, 'cuz that's when Paul Heyman was booking it and we had the Smackdown Six.

  • @ToruKun1 '06 was still fairly violent but you can see that is was going towards PG during fall of that year...smh

  • @ToruKun1 if u look at all of those era's they last no more than 4-5 years and look at the PG era we in the 3rd year,it hopefully should end within the next two years

  • @ViperMr24 It's been the PG era for 4 years so maybe next year

  • I loved move to the music

  • I went to this event and it was beautiful, my eyes were watering from being wwewashed! ( i was 10)

  • Comment removed

  • the papa roach opening was the best

  • @bmetsfan18, HELL NO! that one is for little kids!

    RAW IS WAR!!!

  • @LegendKiller648 1996 or 7 i think its 1997

  • wow awesome not like now

  • they should have this intro now its AWESOME!

  • todays raw theme is so gay

  • fuck pg bring sum attiutude

  • i think i kno why wwe went all pg.stupid kids started imitating moves that the wrestlers would do!! some kids jumped off trees and shit doing the body slams!! and alot of dem started injuries, some even died!!! as much as i miss the old era!! i guess it was 4 ........... i don't know

  • @Love954 NO they changed to Pg, because linda Mcmahon was running for senate or something. So they went Pg so opponents couldn't use her history ageist her.

  • @RkoWrestlingfan228 People are still using the past. Shes losing still.

  • @Saliva4444 wells shes the main reason for this new wwe.

  • @RkoWrestlingfan228 yes. true. But once she is done, hopefully wwe will be better. Is rock returning at summerslam???

  • @Saliva4444 Possibly. But i won't count on it.

  • @RkoWrestlingfan228 I heard rumors. By the way, do u watch tna. Also I could tell u something I heard on it.

  • @Saliva4444 I sometimes watch it. What did you hear on it?

  • @RkoWrestlingfan228 I was reading the tna ppv results and the crowd at the end chanted "Fuck You Vince". I read that on my mobile app.

  • @Saliva4444 hahhaha its true. Fuck Vince. XD

  • u cant tell me out of all these intros that THE ATTITUDE ERA WASN'T THE COOLEST FUCKING ONE

  • Fucking kids, they took everything else from us, Now they are taking the only thing we have left. PG era? It just gets worse and worse, next year, G Era, everyone dresses up as Power Rangers and fights giant monsters, don't get me wrong, Power rangers rock, but the kids ruined that for us aswell. fuck.

  • Its funny how every other opening got me pumped up then the latest (not anymore) intro was like "ohh what the hell!?" The last intro just kills the pumped up mood! WWE is lacking today, they need to think of something in order to bring back the better entertainment like in the attitude era.

  • Wanna know something funny? WWE would not be able to play the 1998 - 2001 Raw intro anymore cause the intro featured unprotected chairshots to the head and face lol and considering that they banned that, they really can't use that intro ever again... which is so gay cause it was the best intro.

  • I fucking hate that "play that fucking music, move to the music" intro from 2002... How the hell can they replace the classic Warzone/Raw is War theme to that shit?

  • @GamingPalooza

You're kidding right? 'Across the Nation' was a really good intro song especially when you compare it to that 'I wanna be loved' bullshit.. and to answer your question, I believe they replaced it because they had no more competition. The Warzone was just a zone by 2002.

  • @IR305

Across The Nation is a good song, but after hearing it every single week.. it was like... "OKAY... MIGHT AS WELL TAKE A POWER DRILL TO MY SKULL". It just became way too annoying, too quickly. "I wanna be loved" is not that great either but at least it has that part where the whole crowd goes "OHH oh oh oh" and it sounds awesome with the live crowd. The Warzone/Raw is War original theme was the best... and never could get sick of it... used to be excited to see it every monday.

  • @GamingPalooza

I'll admit, after hearing the Across the Nation intro for 3 years, it did get a bit annoying... but I much rather hear intro songs that sound like Across the Nation and Thorn in your Eye (War Zone theme) than intro songs like 'I wanna be loved' and the current one that SCREAMS that it's PG for kids.. and hey, maybe you're right, the 'i wanna be loved' song might sound good at a live crowd.. but at a PAPA ROACH CONCERT!!! Not a RAW event where chaos is suppose to happen!!!

  • @IR305

I rather not hear Across the Nation ever again.... However, Thorn In Your Eye was 100x better and way less annoying... Thorn In Your eye rapes "Across The Nation" up it's ass...

  • @GamingPalooza

    Whatever you say bro...

  • I remember watching this and when i heard the 1997 Raw is War sirens go off... i was like "FUCK YA! " bring back that bad ass theme!

  • dude u r so right 1:01 the pg times i hate new raw

  • the end of attitude era was fkng cool man.. evolution, goldberg, the rise of the rated r superstar etc..

  • 0:47 - 0:55... the last best era of RAW: Post-Attitude Era... (Sigh) these stupid kids had to ruin everything...

  • when raw was really raw
