yes a resonator is a like a muffler its purpose is to quite down our engines...its usually located after the cats and before the mufflers in the middle...deleting it will wake up your exhaust !!!!!!!.....im taking my cats , mufflers and resonator off im going with a custom x-pipe and 2 pypes bullet mufflers
