  • Wow, very lucky to have a lynx!

  • Declawed, I assume?

  • What a sweet cat, must be a priceless memory in your life..cat is so affectionate.wish you well dude get a new kitty.

  • Beautiful....will she always remain that tame?

  • Is that a Lynx or bobcat

  • lol leather coach

  • Is he destructive in your home? litterbox trained? Does he mark his territory?

  • it isnt a house cat, its a LYNX or bobcat

  • I wish for a cat like that to bite me.

  • isn''t that a lynx? actually i'm pretty sure it is.

  • FWUFFY KITTY! O-O

  • Dude i think your cat is an lion

  • A cat that big must need some pretty big toys! That is so awesome that you rescued this beautiful animal..power to the people! Some of the comments are strange..This cat was probably taken from the wild as a baby, and therefore wouldn't know how to behave in the wild, and as for the comment about the inappropriate climate, I'm sure it would adapt..I seriously doubt the people who stole him for the fur trade would have kept him in the snow. Also, he looks very happy to be kept as a pet-so lay off!

  • @Mrspadalecki34 This is a long-over due follow-up to the comments to this video; and you helped. Thank you for your common sense. The information I did not share about Olives' previous living situation/rescue. Her parents lived in 6' x 6' cages, stacked atop one another. People who have negative opinions apparently do not know or are just ignorant, The Lynx lives and hunts with their mother for two years before they can fend for themselves. It also snows here in Prescott, AZ

  • @weimerowner ran out of characters....Once the young Lynx at this farm were harvested, they were skinned and the carcass was ground up and fed back to it's parents. So to all that have the illuminated perspective (not @Mrspadalecki34) that she would have been better off dropped into the 'wild' to live her life free for about three to five days until she starved to death, you are correct. Thank you so much for your carefully crafted response(s). You are my inspiration!!!!!!!!!

  • @weimerowner Wow, that is so sad. I can't believe humans could be so cruel and heartless. They let money blind them from the fact that these are living creatures and deserve to be free.Thank God for people like you who stand up and fight for these beautiful animals, that you care. They don't have a voice-it's up to us to speak for them.Thankyou so much for replying, and for sharing you're beautiful cat with us :) And for bringing awareness to such an awful trade.

  • @Mrspadalecki34 people who kill these majestic cats should be shot themselves hung upside and skinned as reminder of the cruelty in which we project on this earth

  • @pelkman85 I just wish these people would wake up and realise that life is more important than money. That compassion, integrity and doing the right thing is far more powerful and lasting.

  • @Mrspadalecki34 I agree. it is one of the major problems of our great planet is GREED.

  • @pelkman85 It is encouraging to know that there are people in this world like this man who will stand up and fight to save these beautiful animals, and that there are people like you and I who care.

  • If only there were more people like this man in the world, hopefully someday there will be. Unfortunately as population increases wildlife suffers, the number of people aware of our impact on the environment is not great enough, and with this truth the few that are aware are fighting to spread that knowledge and prevent further damage. Animals are poached and raised in captivity worldwide, without rescue and adoption they would not survive in the wild. hats off to weimerowner

  • So cute!

  • here il get the roll started for u

  • I want her!

  • 0:48 - 1:02 that's gonna cost lotsa bathroom tissue. btw the cat is beautiful and cute!!

  • not a house cat dumbass

  • @cailaedwards219 the cat lived in his house for 12 years dumbass.....you are confused with domestic cats dumbass

  • @gacwalker it is a WILD cat. not only are you a dumbass, but you are an ignorant one too! read the disclaimer part of the description. Just because a wild cat lived in a home for 12 years, does not make it a domestic cat. Know your shit before you talk shit

  • @cailaedwards219 I know it's a wild cat, never said it's not one. I know it's not a domestic cat, I never said it was. YOU said "not a house cat"....which it is. It was a cat raised in a house....more specifically a a WILD cat type raised in a house making it a house cat. What i meant when you were denying it being a house cat is that YOU were confusing house cat it with a domestic cat....You made so many incorrect assumptions, i'm not sure if you can't read or if a dumbass.

  • This was a horrible and selfish idea from you.... A Canadian Lynx should be in a place where it snows all year around... not even Seattle is good enough for a Canadian Lynx.

  • @MedicinalxMeditation Maybe he should have left him at the fur farm then?

  • @MedicinalxMeditation PUHLEEZE. What would have been horrible was to leave it to become someone's over-priced and un-needed fur coat ( given that most of us are smart enough to use synthetics ). Re-introducing an animal to the wild is a worthy endeavor but in this case, since she was a kitten, wouldn't be the optimal choice. Members of the lynx family fair quite well in human care and many are kept as pets. And they are not endangered, unlike their Euroean cousins.

  • @MedicinalxMeditation arghhhhhh read the fucking description you arogant fool

  • Never move a Canadian Lynx to a hot place like AZ... if you are going to have one as a pet make sure you live in a cold environment ... where you have backyard space so it could stay and play outside in the cold.... In Canada preferably, since it is cold..

  • I'm sure your landlord was thrilled...beautiful cat. I hope you walked him, as that would've been a sight to see!

  • but why Olive??? lol;)

  • the cat might eat you someday

  • If you were gonna have this animal become a carpet in your living room, might as well have left it to become a coat for someone else.

Just let wild animals be wild.

  • thats a freakin bobcat dude you better be carful

  • Beautiful animal.

  • Wow. Was this cat declawed? How did you survive with skin intact when she tried to play with you? My persian almost takes my arm off when he's playing, even though I trim his claws regularly. Your leather couch doesn't even look scratched. This would make a great watch cat. Put a beware of wildcat sign outside.

  • is it a lynx or bobcat?

  • @RoSsMiLlEr08 it loks like a lynx to me

  • @RoSsMiLlEr08 Well actually a Bobcat is a part of the Lynx Family.... Lynx is a Group/ Family.. There are 4 different kind of Lynx.. 1. Eurasian Lynx : 2. Canadian Lynx (as in the video) : 3. Iberian Lynx : 4. Last but not least a Bobcat is a part of the Lynx family as well.

  • Nice bobcat.

  • Adorable

  • you are a lucky man for owning such a unique animal...and for a good cause

  • you have a bobcat as a pet? dude that is awesome.

  • Does this cat make anyone else crave salsa?

  • What a beautiful animal. Sorry for your loss.

  • she is just beautiful ! :)

  • careful! it's canadian.

  • how did you get your meowth to evolve into a persian ?

  • What a beautiful cat !!!!

  • I want a Canadian Lynx! lol

  • I am afraid, I don't know if the cat would hurt anyone or not.

  • This cat is so badass that it does not play with a roll of toilet paper. The cat plays with a whole bag!

  • @thablazter

dude its not a cat its a Canadian Lynx

  • there was a movie about this cat, in the movie, the cat's name was Kunak iinm..

  • That does not look like a normal house pet. That looks like a leopard or something. Either way, it's freaking badass! >:D

  • @bowser5295 the description says canadian lynx dummy

  • Beautiful!

  • If that cat tore into your neck like it tore into those toilet paper rolls you would be fucked haha

  • Good for you! I'm glad to see such loving people willing to take these types of preventative measures to care for such beautiful life. We are caretakers of this world. :)

  • @volizaable

yeah, but most people ruin the earth...

  • @volizaable Really? I don't mean to be a downer (honest), but I'm pretty sure we're the destroyers of this world and every now then we decide to clean up our own mess before creating more.

  • She is beautiful. Thank you for posting this video.

  • Are you petting a fcking puma? Dude if this beast is in a bad mood and goes wild you will be mincemeat

  • @SFSomega

    ITS A CANADIAN LYNX!!!

  • Very nice! I think Maine Coons are as big!

  • I want one!

  • It appears to have been deClawed.....

which seems wise in this case...because it was never going to go back into the wild.....

  • I wouldnt want to piss off that cat.

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for saving her from that evil place.

  • Lynx do not like paper towel, i know that now.

  • The heaviest cat was 22 pounds his name was Porky Puss

  • @MarioMan445 no.the heaviest cat was 36 pounds ,his name was "EL FATO"

  • @SHARKREEF2011 oh sorry Porky Puss was the heaviest cat in 2010

  • @MarioMan445 understood, still second pace aint nothing to sneeze at.However given the state of most americans (morbidly obese)..EVEN their pets are now chubby, far beyond the limit, based on new stats on the sale of oversized litterboxes,so maby theirs hope for Porky Puss to unforklift El Fato from the Worlds Fattest Cat Title...(i'm eating a bean n cheees burrito as I type this..)

  • Funny. The food is playing with a huge cat.

  • It's a leopard or a cheetah

  • @TheTasha310 linx

  • @TheTasha310 it looks nothing like anything you said.

  • What a truely gorgeous animal, and how wonderful for both of you to have each other. I'm sorry she is no longer alive, but 12 years is a lifetime. She died a happy, healthy and loved creature. Thank you so much for loving and rescuing her.

  • whoaa i would love to have one of them ! did it ever claw you / bite ?..how did it react when it saw other animals / smaller cats ? your a kind person for caring for him :)

  • u sir are amasing if more ppl did this we would have more lynx in the world they are really cool looking ^^

  • I'm gonna go ahead and give you an A for today.

  • A loving tribute to a beautiful and fortunate animal - the last thirty seconds or so are heartwarming.

  • amazing and hillarious story! :D

  • Thats a bob cat

  • Our cat goes crazy from time to time just the same way this lynx does!

  • Wow! My cat plays with *A* roll of toilet paper and this big, beautiful feline plays with a whole *PACK* of toilet paper!

    What a GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS creature...R.I.P.

  • She so cute!!!!!!!!

  • wow, that's got to be the ultimate chick magnet

just imagine the topics it'd bring

  • She. Is. Stunning !

  • That cats scratching post is a freakin telephone pole

  • @GoldenTagachi If you knew anything about wild Lynxs, Thier tail are naturally bobbed. God created them like that. or if you believe in evolotion they eveolved that way.

  • Dear, weimerowner, I wonder if it was friendly with guests. Any feedback on that?

  • FUCK i hate when people cut the tail of an animal..how would you feel if i cut your dick off...

  • @GoldenTagachi its a LINX, their tails are always like that...

  • I don't know if anyone has told you this before but.. Thank you. Thank you for saving an animal from the heartless hands of greedy humans. Sorry that she had to go but, at least she died happy and loved. :) <3

  • The story of this is extremely inspiring. First of all, I commend you for dedicating 12 years of your life to caring and raising her. She was lucky to have somebody who would do that, and not have her put down once the costs got too high.

Secondly, a wild animal is wild as long as it is born and raised in the wild. This animal would have no taught instincts. I doubt it would have survived if released

People try to do their best to care for these animals that were RESCUED show them some respect

  • lol i had my cat snowy fighting with me and it wasso storong that it was dragging me (im 10 he was1)

  • I hope it fucking kills you

  • @burtonblunter My goodness, why?! Because he loves that cat and is willing to go out of his way to research specific body language and needs, unlike you?

  • @jedihunter176 because cats should rule the world and humans shouldn't have power over them. I think the linx would agree with me

  • @burtonblunter That cat's making you say that, isn't he? Get away from that man, you--ALL GLORY TO OUR FELINE OVERLORDS

  • I want a Lynx too

  • GO GCHS BOBCATS WOW!!!!

  • very beautiful cat

  • You are so lucky. Lynxes (?) are such beautiful animals.

  • @KoochyWoochy No, a pointless death? ._.

  • @KoochyWoochy That cat looks pretty happy to me. An animal can't miss anything it hasn't experienced.

  • @KoochyWoochy Animals do not understand "joy". There is no such thing for them.

Regardless, I think this lynx was satisfied with a domestic habitat.

Her death was going to be pointless no matter what. Think about that.

    Deal with it.

  • @CandyHam Oh They don't understand joy? Do research on animal communication.

  • @luvmantlucian Better yet, do research without projecting yourself upon on the data.

  • I think the paws are already de-clawed in this video. No animal that large with paws that big would be able to stay indoors.

  • I'm surprised the Sofa is still intact...

  • @dudefrombelgium Me too. My 6 lbs house cat has my couch in shreds.

  • Love this lynx! So nice!

  • cool pet, until he puts you in the hospital

  • might wanna declaw him...just a suggestion

  • @swoosh50 it's a bobcat u idiot

  • @ebony2fly4u its a lynx retard

  • That cat would claw the shit out of the leather sofa

  • Well if ur going to have a lynx as a pet get it fixed

  • I have a cat that showed up at my house 2 years ago in the middle of winter and he is the biggest house cat I've ever seen in person, he's like a small lynx and hurts like hell when he thinks that you're are playing.

  • wow my friends maine coon is that size...

  • push kick jump punch jump kick and punch again and again

  • This video gives me hope. Good for you. What a great life experience her company must have been!

  • That's a badass pet, mate!

  • I really want a lynx... coolest house cat EVER!

  • atleast your fucking honest

  • she is so cute sadly i dont have a cat but my friend does :) :) :)

  • youre a good person

  • You sir are a good man. I'm glad she lived so long with you.

And for all the twaty nay sayers, whining about "its not a housecat its a wild animal", Uzbach, Domestic cats started as wild cats, dogs started as wolves, horses started as mustangs, and so on and so forth.

  • @FiestyCat86 Mustangs are domestic horses that became feral in around the 16th century or so. They aren't the progenitors of horses :\

  • @jedihunter176 actually its the same damn thing. They were wild, then we domesticated them, they just reverted back to what they were before we got ahold of them and decided to put fancy names on em.

  • @FiestyCat86 You gotta learn genetics dude...I'm not trying to argue with you on the point of domestication, but horses did NOT start out as mustangs. Mustangs are probably far from the original horse.

  • @FiestyCat86 Yeah and this animal would had also been killed.

  • what a beautiful Lynx you have there :) its great that she got to spend her life living and not some persons coat. I'm glad she had a wonderful 12 years with you. and people on here have to learn to read, instead of complaining.

  • Thats fuckin awesome! And everybody shut the hell up about him having a lynx in his house. Pretty sure someone already said that and its not gonna make him change his mind about having one christ.

  • THAT'S NOT HOUSE CAT, THAT'S A WILD LYNX AND IT SHOULD BE IN THE WILD, NOT IN YOUR HOME

  • @Uzbach I suppose you think he should have left it at the fur farm then? don't know what I'm talking about? read the description next time.

  • @TheEturne okay, okay I agree with you and I admit I didn't read the description at first. And I guess some people are responsible enough to own one in their house, and I think it was great of him to rescue the poor animal, but still it's not a house cat and I still believe a person's home is not the best environment for a wild animal.

  • I'm all freaking out, over here. Not because you took a big chance on a lynx, but that you kept her in a house...with a LEATHER COUCH! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? LOL or I guess that is what the paper towels were for...what an amazing roommate!

  • THIS IS NOT A HOUSE CAT DUMMY!!!!!

  • @hotte695 he knows, but he rescued a lynx, and after that, he started taking care of it

  • would you reccomend a lynx as a pet?

also, how do you find these fur farms? when i do get a pet in the future i would love to get one from there so i too can know that i saved an animal from becoming some idiots piece of useless fashion

  • @TheBommer29 You do realize that lynx are not housecats and are generally fairly vicious, right? It's possible to raise them domestically, but very hard, and not completely safe. They are predators.

  • A lynx is not a housecat

  • She looks so playful. Sorry she passed, but I'm glad you were able to give her a happy 12 year long life rather than her becoming a fur coat for some rich snob.

  • lol, probably the coolest pet ever! Glad to see some people like cats....

  • @cavemanwmd Some people? Everyone love cats! Even people who say the hate cats love cats... I'm allergic to cats and I got myself two of them! Best animal!

  • how much you think they cost.?

  • good to hear she didnt end up as a piece of clothing

  • Can you imagine... she could have wound as a piece of apparel or decor for some disgusting people.

  • she is a beautifull cat thanks for sharing the images with us!

  • 47 seconds in, pissed my pants

  • that is an amazing story and I am very happy that you did that she looks like she was sweet I had almost the same thing when I was little with a raccoon we sadly have no videos but I have pics of him with me and my little sister when we were 6 and 4

  • too cool...I want one...

  • I want a Lynx :-D

  • Respect.

  • lynx = english

  • is not a cat i dont know whats it called in english but in sweden vi call it lodjuret alsso loanimal

  • Props to you for adding in that disclaimer. There's a lot of idiots in the world who wants to have a wild animal for a pet without knowing what the heck they are signing up for. Usually that ends with the animal getting unintentionally hurt or otherwise abused.

Lovely video, Olive looks just like a huge kitten when she plays with the paper rolls and sleeps on the shelf, such a cutie!

  • magnifique

  • You must have been a bachelor then, to toss her a full pak

of paper towels to rip apart and play with !

My very large male Norwegian Forest Cat will make an enormous mess

of a roll of toilet paper if it's left on the "wall" in the bathroom !

Have to keep it in one of the sink drawers until it's used

    for more traditional purposes !
