'Doping controls'? Doping controls are a joke in Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. The governments of the nations in those regions actively participate in helping their sports federations, coaches, and athletes avoid testing, defeat existing tests, and generally cheat.
The USA is one of the few nations that both take doping control seriously and carry it out.
If the athletes in those nations were as strictly checked for doping as in the USA, their medal counts would drop preciptiously and you'd see medals going to USA men and athletes of the few other ethical nations.
give it time it will happen. remeber 2 things. one the snatch is the most technical lift in all barbell sports. I will get creamed for that comment I know but anyone who has done a limit attempt in this lift knows that a hundreth of a millimeter off anywhere in your body and you miss that lift. and twoweightlifters and coaches shun a lot of training methods. My coach used to yell at me for running, and for competing in powerlifting in addition ot my weightlifting. but those things made me better

Doping controls are too strict for this to happen. The record is 216, by Krastev, and I think that's going to be there forever.

I think Reza has a better technique. That said, with him retired, there's no reason for Chigishev not to get gold.
